Tavon would have made all the difference today
Not sure that I like 3 of our 4 free agents being such huge injury risks and Joeckel just isn't good. Also it's becoming more and more apparent that we need to put somebody new in the DE rotation. Quinn is becoming a huge injury problem and you cut/walk Sims.
IDK if Saben would leave. Why leave when you are already one of the best college head coaches ever and could win 10 more championships and surpass Bryant status? Maybe he wants a Lombardi trophy to. I'd be down for him easy. He holds players accountable, And knows how to win. I'd take him in a heart beat if he wanted. Seems to have a Bellicheat mentality to the game.niNICK SABAN at Alabama may be a good choice also. He is a winner. During Pete Carrolls first employ in the NFL he did poorly with New England. Maybe Saban would also do great in the NFL the second time. To bad jimmy Johnson is to old and wealthy! LA is a market that can get anyone interested!!
I woke up very happy this morning watching Liverpool choke badly against Bournemoth and allow Arsenal to maintain 2nd place in the table!
Next season Boudreau will have a large cadre of young OLT's to look through.....Pace Murphy, Darrell Williams, Isaiah Battle & Andrew Donnal plus the Drive Killer himself.
Fisher isn't Linehan or Spags bad (and in Spags defense had he not had so many injuries in 2011 and the lockout against him he could have had us at 6-10/7-9 that year making him on par with Fisher). Fisher isn't a top tier coach, but he has improved the team. Fans know the team is capable of doing worse. They endured a 15-65 stretch of football. He could. But Jeff Fisher is actually such a bad coach (in my opinion) that I really really really think the odds that the next coach is better, or even much better, is pretty good odds. It's actually difficult to hire a head coach (if you actually do a little research and think on it) that would get you a worse Win-Loss record with the current talent we have, than Fisher has.
The only time I ever attacked @badnews was when he once said that Keith Moon was the greatest drummer ever.
Of course everyone knows that title belongs to Neil Peart
Lol
It's all good, we're all Rams fans, we all want the best for the team. I didn't think I attacked on the topic but will be mindful not to do so
But he got a chance to suck!!! They know what they have to work on, what he does in games...theyhave a feel you can't get from practice. We really have no clue what we have
(Jeff Triplette's crew has similar numbers but is off this week. Triplette also has accounted for three of the seven player ejections this season.)
Overconfidence in their coaching abilities did them in. They passed on good talent for raw ability they thought they could make into better talent. With the defensive talent on the roster all they need is a league average offense. Going with the more polished good talent was the way to go.This is what happens when you draft purely on potential.
Robinson over Mathews
Pead over Anyone, he was terrible
Quick over Jeffery's
Austin over Hopkins
All high picks on the Offensive side of the ball that have been absolute bust. Just another fact that shows you Fisher/snead doesn't know offensive talent.
I really don't know how anyone can argue that these two shouldn't be fired by this alone.
If Fisher replaces a lot of his offensive coaching staff, at bare minimum Boras, I'll be ok with it. There can be no debating that the play calling has been atrocious this season most of the time. Boras has called a few good halfs such as the first half of the Detroit game. But in large it's usually bland as can be and highly, no, ungodly predictable.
New play caller with some innovation is the only way I accept Fisher being here another year. But I've been saying that at the end of every season he's been here so I'm not holding my breath.
When your wrong, your really wrong!! And your REALLY! REALLY !WRONG with this statement!!Great guy but overrated player
THIS^ would only make sense, considering the Rams are ranked 7th against the Pass and 20th against the Run!Without Gronkowski, New England coach Bill Belichick and his staff could also decide to lean more heavily on their trio of running backs: LeGarrette Blount leads the league with 12 touchdown runs, while James White and Dion Lewis have combined for 594 yards from scrimmage.
Man ... don't insult my toilet paper like that!!!He's soft as cottonelle, I don't think he will ever be a dominant LT , he has the tools and size just doesn't have the focus or drive . No way you can say you are focused when you commit as many dumb penalties as him . We really need him to step up because our line is a huge disappointment
I hear ya, but seriously though, I truly believe it's because THAT is the answer. THAT is what will kick start the Rams into a new era of winning football. They (me) don't want to see him fired because we want to see a man fail. We want him fired so that he can't hold the Rams back any longer. It's been way to long and it's way ridiculous. Needs to end. That's why true Rams fans are "running with any story" because it actually will help get Fisher fired from the HC position in Los Angeles.
Haven't really heard about him of late. I'll take that as, he may be staying out of trouble. Good for him.
I guess I wasn't paying close attention last night because watching again today I see how wrong I was. It's not a lucky break. A lucky break is a DB having an interception bounce off his hands into the WR's hands for a TD. That would have been a bad and illegal play by the defender.
The hit that caused the errant throw was an illegal hit. There's no disputing it. The Cowboys got the lucky break that they weren't called for it.
