I just don't even get how this is a story. They are breaking ZERO rules.

Are people really that upset that a young smart coach got creative with the play calling?

Haters gonna hate.
They are just jealous because they can now see the Rams, under McVay's guidance, is going to go on a Winning streak that will last the rest of this decade, and all of the next!!(y):mrburnsevil:

This is fake news.
Quick quiz for the super-intellectual:

1. The communications in the head set are for the quarterback and...
  • His mom, for encouragement. [ ]
  • The coach, or offensive coordinator, to make adjustments between plays. [x]
  • His favorite music streaming, such as Taylor Swift, or maybe some good music. [ ]
2. NFL practice of helmet communication devices:
  • Is a myth, and will never happen. It is cheating and morally wrong, and only a dumbass quarterback would need such a thing. Wise sages like the erudite Peyton Manning, and the handsome, brilliant Tom Brady read the defense at the line and have always been trusted to call brilliant plays on the spot. [ ]
  • Has been in practice for decades, and is universally used by brilliant quarterbacks, AND those that don't even know where the sun rises. [x]
  • Is a scandal recently uncovered by sports media gumshoes, uncovering the Los Angeles Rams scheme between Head Coach Sean McVay and quarterback Jared Goff, to cover Goffs obvious mental shortcomings. Congressional hearings have not yet been scheduled. [ ]
3. The NFL rule of cutting off the communication 15 seconds before the time-clock runs out:
  • Is enforced on all 32 teams, and otherwise has no strategic stipulations. [x]
  • Is in place to prevent dishonest Millennial coaches and idiot Millennial quarterbacks from rushing to the line to read the defense so the genius coach can change the play before the time clock runs out, and dictate to his slow-minded quarterback what to do. [ ]
  • Is in place because teams are currently required to stay huddled up until the 15 second mark. [ ]
Hope you do well on the quiz. I think I aced it. (y)

.

I just find it funny he was talking about cheating then in the same breath he brought up Brady as the bastion of pure and fair qb play.

All that will become of this is that defenses will start to wait before getting set and not showing too much. The real advantage is, and will remain that the speed of our lining up will prevent substitutions and teams that go no huddle have been doing that for years.

Don't know why they even talked about this during the season....we need to keep some of this stuff secret....

As for Chris Simms....Stronger arm than his daddy....better athlete....In fact, right up to the moment he was hit and had to have his spleen removed....I thought he'd be a good QB.....He's not a bum....he's not a fool...listen to him on.....Florio some times...knows his crap.

Is this illegal??? IDK.....but if it is, I bet the NFL changes this rule in some way....

I think it's great that Jared gets to hear what McVay sees...and where he thinks the ball should go if x, y, and/or z happens on a play.

He’s good at trolling I’ll give him that much lol
My favorites and it's not just Goff and Wentz but he can without skipping a beat say player A isn't good because he hasn't done X. But player B is great and won't even acknowledge the fact that player B also hasn't done X but he's still great. For example, Goff won't be good until he's made a deep run in the playoffs. Wentz is good but he's also never been to the playoffs and has only played 1 team even over .500 on the year. But he's good :)

Good example....

Wentz is looking extra-ordinary....that's my opinion...correct?

I say Goff is just looking good to very good....my opinion again.

What I've seen from Wentz, I don't need to see what he does in a playoff atmosphere....I think his "stuff" translates.

What I've seen from Goff, I think I need to see more....

Our offense appears better than the Eagles...guys are "more" open....plays are working better. IMO, again.

Their offense looks Wentz driven, like anyone else at QB, and that team won't work/win. Again, MY OPINION.

I hope this clears up any....any...discrepancies....or why one player can do something and I say, meh....and another player can do something and I say, whoa!....

Curious....do you think Wentz OC is in his ear with :15 on the play-clock, telling him where to deliver the ball? hmmmm?

He was a terrible QB in college and a terrible QB in the NFL and that's why he's not in. He doesn't know squat.
I wouldn't call him terrible...unless you have different levels of terrible...

Sims was looking decent...until his spleen injury...even his career record clarifies this.

Simms is a terrible analyst and was an average qb at best.
Ok....some truth...he's an average QB.....I'll take that....never really listened to him do games....analyzing games....only really listened to him on Florio....seems knowledgeable...like he knows what he's looking at.

And by the time defenses have somewhat caught up this week Jared Goff has had 11 games to start recognizing the defenses with a little help from his offensive coordinator/head coach.
