Guys, I love McVay like the rest of you, but let's temper our praise just teeny bit. Don't get me wrong, he's done an outstanding job changing the culture of our organization, bringing us a division title, and, as of now, making us a deep playoff contender. BUT, that does not make him the greatest, most omnicient, coach of all-time - not yet at least. We havent won a playoff game yet, and to be honest, he was outcoached by the Falcons in that game and by the Vikings last year. Our offense is new and innovative, but let's not pretend like there are not other outstanding defensive minds in the league that can make adjustments. Do we really think McVays offense mind is better the Wade's defensive mind?

I' just saying, let's win some playoff games and perhaps a championship before we crown McVay as the GOAT.
Turnovers affected both contests, and injuries...That detracts from your "he got out coached" argument.

That's fine...Time for Woods, Kupp, and Gurley to kick @ss. They can't handle what the Rams do this year..
Exactly!!!

Cooks, if he keeps up at it will make some big plays, he just won't dominate. THis is the game of the year for the Vikings---going 1-2-1 is very depressing...may hte Rams be gentle.

This game is at 2:20 am for me. This is like the ultimate fandom test

The Rams better show up if I do haha
No worries....Your neighbors will hear you screaming at about 5am, like a loon(and not an owl).

You have to consider the other guys too. Cooks not the sole WR, and your analysis doesn't include the PI penalties he draws by panicked DB's. Considering this, he's doing GREAT.
I think he is referring to Watkins stats.

EDIT: Just read through some of the posts and others have already stated that. Late to the party as usual.

Higbee had a crazy catch last game, and it was a pass that he would have dropped last year. I have renewed hope concerning him.
That was a hell of a catch. The type of catch we have been expecting him to make. High stick it in tight coverage.

I too have hope for the boy. Now, let's all make sure his lips don't touch ANY alcohol!

Remember, when screaming at 5AM to use these phrases.

Yeah, baby, just do it it.
Man that feels sooooooooooo goooood.
WOW! I can't believe you just did that!
Damn, This feels so good!

Make it enjoyable for your neighbors.

He turned the Worst offense into the Best offense in one year. And he's rolling once again. I'll give him all the praise because that's a hard thing to do. How many times have seen a new coach come in and it take 3 to 4 years to get things rolling. The guy can coach plain and simple. He also wins, yeah we lost our first playoff game last year, but it was our first playoff game since when? 10 years? lol. McBae deserves to be praised until proven otherwise.

Was he really out coached or did Pharoh Cooper muff some punts and than Alex Olgetree couldn't stop some huge run plays on 3rd down hmmmmm i'm thinking McVay was not out coached. Might wanna review the tape.

I don't disagree with anything of this, he does deserve praise. I'm just saying that I think it's too early to say hes the greatest coach ever. He's a great coach, but I think we should see how it all plays out and what we accomplish.

Ogletree and Cooper's blunders do not have to do with our offense. It was one possession game at the half. The Falcons D stopped us from scoring many points, fair and square.

Last time the Rams played the Vikings in the LA Coliseum?

Dec. 2 1979. Rams won 27-21 on their way to SB. Bob Lee started and Vince Frerragamo finished.

I went to Bud Carson’s last game as a Vikings coach. The Rams won on a last second goal line stance !!!

Anaheim Stadium was so LOUD !!
Rod Woodson was on the Vikings

He got out coached & Case Keenum also out played Goff big time !! Home field was huge for the Vikings though. Plus The Rams offense is playing so much better now.

Plus Kupp fumbled on the one yard line and Keenum connected on at least one miracle jump ball pass while running for his life. The crowd noise in that place is impressive.

Good call !! The Vikings have talented WR which is scary. There DL is tough.

Everson G. Missing though should give Goff more time to pass as well as playing at home where the offense does not have to go on a silent count.
