We have a really good team in every phase of the game. We also have very very good coaches in every phase of the game.
In particular the line coaches just seem dominant.

On offense, the ridiculous, insane, unbelievable accuracy of Goff ... as Buck said "come on!!"
I'm going to break the rules and do two for offense, because the other one is number of weapons we have ... wow.
On D, while they didn't make a lot of plays, what stood out to me was that they did so when the game was on the line. They stepped up when needed to finish it off.

Jared Thomas Goff on offense, he was dropping dimes all night long and even ran once to keep the drive alive and Goff is humble, but his game against Minnesota was epic.
John Franklin Myers from a rookie from Stephen F. Austin to making the defensive play of the game strip sacking Kirk Cousins to secure the win...You like that!

Offense: The engine that gets it going is the O-Line!

The skilled position are the components,
And Gurley is the Pirelli Tires that get you on track!!! Lol
Defense: Honestly I’d have to say the secondary for stepping up when they needed them to.
You might say “ they had 420something yards in the air”. Look the Viqueens offense is no joke. Don’t let last week fool you. They are have damned good players over there and after having to step up for Talib and Peters ( he was not mobile at all like usual) they did a decent job to enable coverage sacks when the plays meant the most!

Seriously though. The Dline is starting to hit midseason form. That will be huge with Talib out.
On offense, the ability of McVay's schemes and Goff's line calls to get mismatches against the linebackers.
On defense, the shuffling of the DL until they got mismatches severe enough to get sacks in the fourth quarter - especially Suh shifting to DE at times.

Defense: John Johnson had a bad game. His tackling has not been good this year. He's having a bit of a sophomore slump imo.

Offense: Rams have not utilized their TE to its fullest potential. When the offense spreads the ball to all, the Rams offense can average 50 points a game. Everett and Higbee need to step up and look for the ball.
Defense: Suh needs to play LDE, put Brockers and Donald in the middle and rotate Westbrook and Ebukam on the RDE, the DL is going to be unstoppable.

yeah, and against the Chargers Johnson bit on a short routle leaving Peters with underneath coverage on a deep pass for a td. Peters was not happy about it.
Offense. This is no longer Gurleys team. This is Goffs team.

Not only have we not really used our tight end position but I think Everett is a hidden weapon. That dude's first touchdown was on a shovel pass.
With all of the motion and jet sweep actions we are running right now throwing Everett in there as well just makes us that more dynamic - and he is a good runner with the ball in his hands.
Let me share my thoughts from being at the game.
The unity and leadership shown by those it is expected of. On both sides of the ball. TV viewers don't see some of this stuff but it is there. Players talking with each other on the sideline, high fives, coaching opportunities. It's all happening.
I'm going to share one action that stood out to me. I can't recall the exact play but it was in the second half. We were driving past midfield and after one of our plays for a big gain, there was a flag. Being in the stands we had no idea who the flag was on. The refs are in conference, three of them along the visitor sideline at about the 25 yard line of the Vikings. Just standing a few feet away from this huddle by the refs is Whitworth. He is a respectful distance away from the group, not interfering yet listening to the discussion. After a few moments of discussion by the refs, Big Whit turns away and starts walking back to his offensive group. At the same time he is signaling with his left hand that the penalty is on the Vikings, directing his attention with his hand towards the Viking defense. Continuing back to the rest of his teammates he is telling them it's a defensive penalty. Of course the Rams coaches see this also and now are preparing for the next play knowing the down and distance just improved immensely for our Rams.
A simple act like that was a veteran move by Whit. He knew we needed to know what was going on as no one seemed to have a clue. Again, a simple task, not interfering with the refs yet being able to let his team know what was about to be called showed me his veteran savvy and leadership. It was still another minute before the refs made the call official as they had to sort out their responsibilities.
