We have a really good team in every phase of the game. We also have very very good coaches in every phase of the game.

In particular the line coaches just seem dominant.

Every phase? Well.... I think they could use some improvement in a few areas.

What about the 4-0 Rams cementing their spot in the hearts of the City of Los Angeles and beyond? I've never seen fans that fired up after a game in my life! I can't explain it, but it is like a homecoming similar to the Lakers when Magic joined the team. The 88 Dodgers somehow beating the A's. It's hard to see because we have been true die hard Rams fans for so long, but I'm telling you, this is something special going on for the Rams and Los Angeles. Jim Rome show on Friday morning, he said the buzz is real and the Rams are captivating and winning over the City of Los Angeles by the way they are winning. The Showtime, flashy Lakers are now the 2018 Rams.

Which is your prerogative. I think we have a good and well rounded team. Four games in we've had some bumps mostly attributed to a couple injuries. We've played a couple of very good offenses so yes we'll give up points that hardly means we aren't a good team. One thing about me is you'll almost never see a sky is falling attitude like a lot of people around here exhibit on a play by play basis in the GDT. People seem to forget, as they always do, we started off rough last year on defense as well and what happened? We buttoned things up, especially in the 2nd half of every game, and played good. Last year in the first four weeks we gave up 105 points including 39 to a horrible Whiners team and 30 to the Cowboys. This year we've given up 67 including the 31 we gave up this week and the 23 to the Chargers, which is their lowest scoring game of the year btw.

So go ahead join the sky is falling crowd. I'll enjoy the rose colored view from my seat.

What in the FUCK do we have to do to get the zebras to call a holding penalty against our opponent's offensive line. I know I ain't blind. This shit is beyond looking the other way by the refs... it's fucking highway robbery.

Not saying the sky is falling but the defense has really only showed up in the 2nd half against a still winless raider team and thoroughly beating down a hapless cardinal team. The rams invested a lot on that side of the ball and I don’t think they’re living up to their billing.
Last year the Rams losses were to teams that had a great defensive performance, the Vikes, Eagles and Falcons, and even though there wasn’t much defense in the SB it’s good to be able to have that as a weapon.

And lets look at those additions you're saying didn't contribute. Peters was banged up and Talib was out. Suh played very good. Sorry they aren't living up to your expectatios but I don't have a problem with the defense's performance last week.

And we held a very good offense and QB in the Chargers to their lowest output to date this year. We held a damned good RB this week to 2 yards a carry. It's way too easy to focus on the negative which we see around here all the time. The defense will be fine, again we're averaging 10 points less a game this year than last year and we've played better teams and better QB's.

Defense: John Johnson had a bad game. His tackling has not been good this year. He's having a bit of a sophomore slump imo.

Would agree here, in fact, Safety play IMO has not been good. Next year with Joyner leaving the Rams will look towards the draft to upgrade the position, so you will have to let us know who is available.

I’m not focusing on the negative, I think this team is in a great situation but you said we have a really good team in ALL phases. The defense gave up 500 yds and 28 pts to a team that scored 6 the week before.
Maybe you’re confusing my post with someone else’s, I never singled anyone out as not contributing. This team can go deep in the playoffs but I think they’re going to have to play better defense.

I posted a positive that I feel the team has you countered saying it wasn't a positive. Not sure how that's not a negative opinion :D Either way have a good day.

For me it was Mcvay, how much he loves these guys, supports them. I'm going to drink some Rams Kool-Aid and say this guy goes down as the all-time greatest coach. He inputs so much positivity into this team.

It wasn’t a negative opinion just one that was different from yours and there’s nothing wrong with that.
You have a good day as well
