Tavon Austin for me. It was the perfect scenario where my favourite team drafted my favourite prospect. I made excuses for him for years.

I thought we didn’t need another defensive lineman when AD99 was drafted. We already had Quinn & Long and had just drafted Brockers. Man what do I know.
I also used to think of Saffold as a softie under the Spags and Fisher regimes. He’s grown up, and is a great lineman.

There was context in my "passive-aggressive" comment to @OldSchool that was both fair and funny and not directed to or about you or insinuating anything about the mods decision.

My biggest ones were probably GRob and Tavon. I knew they were both really raw at their respective positions but I figured they were both unique enough to overcome any growing pains they might have and end up star players. Boy was I wrong.
Hit the notification button (bell) and when the menu drops down, select the upper icon on the left that has a little down arrow in it. It’s not actually very intuitive but it’s there.

I'm with you, I'd convinced myself that he was going to be the lynchpin of the Rams o-line for a decade!
Well, there is a list, however, besides thinking that Zach Wiegert was going to be the next Tom Mack I guess the biggest whiff was I thought Mike Martz was going to be to the Rams what Joe Gibbs was to the Redskins.
Loved this kid coming out of Colorado, was pulling hard for him. RAMS needed a TE and I thought he was going to be that guy. Oh well...
