SoCal Ram gave me an indifferent opinion on Me thinking Ryan Fitz being the second coming of Kurt Warner. Clearly he doesn’t remember STL news after fitz first game in STL when he scored 3 TDS and they assumed he was a surefire hall of fame 7th round steal.
No one can rain down on my petty post

I think that was one of the first RRFestivus games we all went to... @Prime Time?

The first one was the Redskins and the second one was the Chiefs(or maybe the other way around). We lost both those games.
Yeah, we weren't very good luck, we were?

So Fitz didn't play in either one?

If I recall correctly Fitzpatrick started against the Redskins and Bulger started against the Chiefs.
Ahhhh... your memory is so much better than mine. What I do recall is that he (Fitz) came on strong... then, of course, fizzled.

Funny that, so many years later, he's still doing that.

Something else I just thought of.

When Flipper grabbed that catch from Everett in OT against the Giants, I just knew we were Super Bowl bound and would brush the 9ers aside.

It was destiny.

That the 1996 Draft was going to put Rams on the map for a long time:
R1 - Lawrence Phillips, R1B - Eddie Kennison, R2 - Tony Banks

I bet it would be almost impossible even with hindsight and if you wanted to, to screw up that draft worse they did.

You could have literally given a money 3 darts and pinned the pictures of all the people slated to go in the first two rounds to a wall and the cheeky little fella would have done better. Good grief.

I thought that Joe Klopfenstein would be a top tight end in the league.

I try to not get too geeked-up one way or another about a player, but I loved the Gurley pick...and hated the Tavon Austin pick. So I was right on those. Also loved the Ogletree pick...which could go either way. But for most picks I'm a "let's see how this pans out" type of guy.

But I admit I was wrong about Fisher. I mean, he certainly got the Rams up to respectability (any of you truly remember the dumpster fire this team was before he came in????). He did wonders for our defense.
...but some of you were calling for his dismissal long before I was. And you guys were right. He stayed a year or two too long.

That's Flopenstein. At least spell his name right.

C'mon, I'm already using his last name as a villain's last name in one of my original stories. Isn't that bad enough? :p

I was only half joking .... carriker injury hurt his career .. and linehan tried to make Leonard a blocking fullback for Jackson

I know you were, but I wanted to point that out for others. Some players end up as busts because of lousy coaching. If Fisher had been kept around for another couple seasons, imagine what Goff would be looking like today.

Some players are known as coach killers ... but it's time we start labeling some coaches as player killers. At least where offense was concerned, Fisher was just that.

Why do we need to draft AD when offense is the problem?

A running back ? But we have Stacey and Mason.

Tree will always be a ram , honestly I miss that guy . Yes he missed tackles but he made alot of big plays and was a great leader .
