Trubisky will play and lead a decent offense. They are better than the Lions offense. His injury wont affect his running ability but should affect his passing to some degree. The Bears Defense will show up ready to prove they are one of the best in the NFL. They are better than the Lions defense. So unless Goff and our LBs have a better game than the Detroit game this is one could be tough - but good teams find a way to win the tough games (as the Rams have proven all year)!

Rams learned that the hard way too many times in their struggling days...Even if they seemed poised for a win against the really good teams like the Whiners, Hags, etc those teams always found a way to get the wins..Not just against the Rams but most everybody else as well..Good and great teams find a way to win...For the most part, the Rams have done that this year...Might need that toughness this week...I really think this will be a tough match up in the nasty December weather of Chicago
.. (even though one of their moron fans thinks the game is in November)...A win will be a HUGE step towards home field throughout...

Nobody is “used to” cold weather. Everybody gets cold when it’s cold. Stop trying to suggest that the Bears players have an extra layer of epidermis or something.

Not exactly.

Then again, we need to stop with the "freezing is too cold" stuff that people put out there.

Heck, there are people that ski in bikinis when it's just at or above freezing.

I was raised in SoCal and I barely need a long sleeved shirt when it's freezing. Only reason I wanted to have an unlined shell on in Minny was that it was about 28 and wet snow and I didn't want to catch cold from the wet moreso than the cold.

And as hard as those guys are working, there's a really good reason for not wearing sleeves in these games outside of the "bravado" factor and that sweat is actually a bigger deal during rest periods as the evaporation is what can really do a person in with respect to core body temperature.

Now, when games get to 0 degrees F or below, THEN there are players who seriously can't come close to performing at their usual.

Also, we played AT ALTITUDE in the same temps in Denver and... we did fairly well.

the rams struggled against the lions whom the bears beat on their own turf with a backup quarterback, just saying.
-----------
bears play LIGHTS OUT at home
----------
they gave up 51 points to the chiefs and 45 to the saints... They aren't a good defense. And while Donald is the best dt in the league, Mack is the better defender...
------------
The rams haven't played a defense like the Bears. While the Rams are loaded with stars on offense, the Bears are loaded on defense. We will see what happens.
-------------
Aaron Donald won’t sack trubisky watch how he evades the pocket

Bears are at home. Bears are pissed. Rams haven't faced a top defense. Mitch is back. All reasons Chicago wins.
-----------
Defensive game of the year. Rams 24 Bears 28
---------
Rams don’t have much of a defense.
----------
Bears could win unless Aaron Donald eats Mitch arm not nice but....
----------
Gurley is an over rated POS the Bears easily handled before. The Rams Wr's and Dline (except Donald) are rejects no one else wanted. The Rams Qb could not start on any team that did not have the HC reading the defense for him in his ear piece. Bears outclass the Rams easily. Hope Mitch plays so they can show the world the truth.
----------
Bears will win at home. Gurley man ain’t running on bears defense at home.
---------
I can't believe the Bears have to waste their greatness on this team of rejects. Rams are pretenders who have no chance of winning a playoff game still. Hopefully Bears are not looking past them.
----------
The bears D needs to really have the best game of the season if the rams are hot that game. I don't know if the bears can hang in a shootout like kc did.
----------
The key to this one is stopping Todd Gurley. I think the Bear's secondary is much improved over the past few years and can definitely keep the Ram's passing game from "exploding." I have a feeling the Bears have been scheming this game since Thanksgiving
---------
Trubisky can out run Donald, Goff cant out run Mack. Bears-27 Rams-21

Spread going down from -3.5 to -3 Rams. Interesting how the Rams are not a great cover team. The nice lady host of the betting video jumped on the Bears at -3.5. You have to think it is going to be a close game. I don't like running QBs like Trubisky nor good defenses with pass rushers. McVay has to come up with some new plays. He does like max protection which would be smart this week. How about some early screen pass. He seems to wait for the screen later in games. I expect a hard fought game. Rams win of course.

The Bears losing last week @Giants was not a good thing for Rams backers. They are going to be an angry football team. Prime time game at home. One of the biggest tests the Rams will have all season.

Rams at Bears

MDS’s take: I’m tempted to pick the Bears to pull the upset, but I just think the Rams’ defense is going to be too much for Mitchell Trubisky in his return from a shoulder injury.

MDS’s pick: Rams 21, Bears 17.

Foolio’s take: The Rams managed only 23 points on a cold day in Denver. It will be a cold night in Chicago, and the Rams will have an even harder time scoring points.

Foolio’s pick: Bears 24, Rams 21.

Will learn a lot about what the Bears really are. Is their record a product of their really easy schedule up to this point? Will they be able to handle a top tier O? Who knows, but a very interesting, and hopefully entertaining game.

I could be completely wrong on this, and they might completely shut our O down, but I look at their schedule, and who they have beat and who they lost to, and I am just not impressed.

The entertainment never stops coming from these guys! Best comments are the we haven’t faced a defense like them. Which really goes both ways, they haven’t faced an offense the the Rams. The same team that just gave up 30 to a damned Eli led offense? Yeah color me imoressd with recent performances. Last time Eli put up 30 I bet Clinton was in office! Last time we played Eli it was a 51-17 ass whooping on the road!

Look the Bears have a very good defense, that’s played one offense all year, maybe two if Cousins is having a good week. But the unbeatable defense mentality might be a bit overdone. Give them a year or two in the mean time I fully expect a battle and a close game with this being in Chicago in December.

WTF? These Bears fans are beyond Patriot/Cowboy fan ignorant?

The Bears D is so great? Your D is going to dominate us?
Against the fucking Lions on 11/11 the lions put 22 up on you and on 11/22 the Lions put up 16 fucking points! We just played the Lions and they put up 16 points on us??? Are they fucking ignorant, dumb asf, or clueless???

IT'S NOT 1985 YOU FUCKS!

I pray you come to LA for the playoffs so we can avenge that 1985 Championship game.

Your about to see what a REAL NFL DEFENSIVE MVP LOOKS LIKE Sunday night.

Don't confuse the two.
