Talked to my brother, a huge Bears fan, who lives 30 miles so. of Chi-Town in Gary Indiana, was listening to local bears radio. Mitch Trubisky's shoulder is still not right and very good chance he will miss another game or more.
Anyone have a handle on Mitch's injury status?

Big Ram advantage if Chase Daniels gets the start.

I personally think Chase Daniels is better then Trub.

Then I'm an anomaly because I've been a Rams fan since 1975 and my most hated team by far is Seattle! They've earned it. Hate them hate them, hate them!
Yep, looks like you definitely go against the grain a bit. Would you mind sharing what it is about the Seattle team that causes them to be your most hated of all Rams' rivals?

And, has it always been this way, and, who else held that spot of ultimate hate prior to the Squawks coming into the NFL and the NFC West?

So... the Bears. Who have they lost to, and who have they beat?

Not exactly the hardest schedule.

Sensible Bears Fan said;

It's only a 3.5 point spread so clearly the bookmakers say it will be close. But just off the top of my head the Bears have played and beaten nobody, with how weak the NFC North has turned out to be they probably have the easiest schedule in the NFL. Bears beat the Seahawks @ home in week 2, in comparison, the Rams have beaten the Seahawks twice, Chiefs, Chargers, Packers, Vikings, Broncos. They are better on paper, they are better on the field week to week, and they have been battle tested and held strong. They also have a much better Quarterback, Running back, Wide Receivers, need I go on. At what positions do we exactly have an edge in this matchup? The Rams are who the Bears wish they were.

I hope the Bears beat the shit out of the Rams!
-----------
we will. I see plenty turnovers to feast on
----------
Rams and Saints throw the ball a lot, Fuller and Jackson will feed off of it.
------
They’ll be playing in Chicago tho in very cold weather which will be in Chicago’s favor. Might be a hard day on offense for the rams and the bears. If it comes down to defense I got the bears defense over the rams any day.
----------
bears have the best rushing defense in the nfl
---------
Bears have the best defense in the NFL by an extremely wide margin, and their offense is top 10 in every offensive statistic. That defense is good enough to stop anyone, and if anyone in the NFC will beat the Saints, it will be the Bears, not the Rams.

Rams have such a terrible defense that idk if they win a single playoff game. That Rams defense was massively overrated due to a couple of big names, but they got lit up so badly against the Chiefs that they might be one of the worst defenses in the entire league. That's not a 'well-rounded' team
----------
Rams mid november at soldier field against Bears D you cant run the same offense they been running facts bears win close one
-----------
My bears aren't there yet but the weather will be a lot bigger factor in the Rams game than people think!
------------
The Bears are actually the perfect team, and probably best built to beat teams like chiefs, saints, rams.
----------
Rams will be easier than Brees who gets the ball off in no time
-----------
Bears 48 Rams 13
---------
The bears are gonna have to score 25+ to win. Bears haven't faced a offense on that scale yet this year.
----------
We'll beat the Rams at home. In LA, I give LA the edge. A great defense always beats great offense.
----------
rams are very good but they haven’t played the #1 defense in football yet
-----------
As a Bears fan since 2001.. we've been underrated every year we have been good. 2001, 2005, 2006, 2010-2012.. and i hate to say it but i think we are a bit overrated right now. I see the it all falling apart here shortly in fairly drastic fashion. We dont run the ball like we used to, theres no balance to our offense.

We have had a mostly easy schedule, with our three tough games against SEA, NE and MIN, two of which we played at home on prime time. Also i hate to say it but i think our defense is a tad overrated, possibly not, maybe we are hitting our stride but we really have not played anyone that great yet.

I will give the defense credit because at times Nagy seems like he cant put together consecutive offensive halves (see point one), so in some games the defense gets porked being out on the field the whole time. Fortunately.. 4-12 to 11-5 is a hell of a turn around, so i am excited.
-----------
The Rams. Personally, I think their defense is their Achilles heel. When they step on the field against the Bears, in December in Chicago... I want them to think real hard how badly they wished they had a defense worthy of calling NFL caliber.
----------
Rams vs bears, rocky vs Drago
-----------
The Rams are nothing special. The NFL is trying their hardest to make football relevant in LA again so they're letting Goff's lineman hold for as long as they want and his receivers to push off as often as they want.
----------
Fangio knows defense. Watch what they do on 12/9 vs the Lambs.
----------
I bet there's more bears fans in the stadium then rams fans not even la is buying into them

There we go, the comments about how we’re overrated and they’re underrated. I love reading these things every week. Whomever came up with this thread idea originally deserves a drink in celebration.

We came aboard in the same year, but I still hate those damn 9ers worse. I saw a lot of cockroach bandwagonners come out of no where in the 80s acting like they were alway there.

But as of this year, when that ass #68 disrespected Donald in their last game, the hate for the Squawks has risen considerably. As long as that idiot is on their team I hope they fail.

I think a couple of these clowns don't even know when and where this game is going to be played...One thinks mid-November weather will favor the bears..Another bets there will be more bears fans in the stands than Rams fans (Because not even he LA fans have bought into them)...I'm guessing he'll be right about the fan breakdown in the stands, I just think the logic that got him there is terribly flawed..The mid-November reference puzzled me...

Started these in 2005 at RRF. Pretty sure someone was doing these before me, although I don't know who, because I've never had an original idea in my life. :sneaky:

This just depressed the shit out of me as Aaron Donald has been watching this while eating Bear shaped animal crackers all week.
-----------
Turnstiles.
----------
Our O will not be able to keep up with the Rams unless we keep Goff in the pocket. Mitch might be able to find outside space on his own. Goff gets it by design. Good news is we should have a pretty fast track for Soldier Field for this time of year.
----------
Imagine the mess it will be against that Rams line. Bring a broom...

This one might be relatively low scoring. Bears have a fine defense with excellent backers, aside from Mack they also have a fine young LB in Roquan Smith who is going to continue to improve moving forward as well. Goff is going to have to clean up what he put on film last Sunday to ensure we can win this game.

Bears offense ain't all that, but our defense is what gives me concern. That plus the Bears defense means this is a dangerous game for us, not to mention the cold weather.

Excellent test for our young team here, and I can't wait to watch how they deal with it.
