Ya, but Bulger, Warner, Trent Green blow away the last 30 years of Bears history.....not counting Chris Miller and CHandler had better years than any Bears QB in 30 years, too!
Bears fans have the right mix.
I think Bears will win if Mitchy plays.
True.
I wasn't really comparing the two.
Both have had a hard time....until now.....finding long term answers.
Should be an interesting game.
Like last week I think time of possession is a key if the Rams are to win.

How do people still say this? You can literally look up a teams strength of schedule.

We had the 5th hardest schedule at the start of the season. Not sure where it ranks now.
flv posted about how strength of schedule is just a number and doesn't really mean much. Not sure where it is but it's out there and it's a good read.

There are some more insightful posters from the Bears than I expected.

Indeed, got to give the Bear fans credit.we have seen some really nutty fans from opposing teams like the chiefs and packers and the usual seahawk nuts so its a refreshing change to see some posts of opposing fans that have a good head on their shoulders for a change.:)

Bears are the 2017 rams..good young team..they are still a yr away from winning a SB in my opinion but will be a true SB contender next season I think..bears go 10-6 at worst this yr..
-----------
Bears have a championship level defense. Rams never did. They're better than the 2017 Rams, and they are likely better than the 2018 Rams. We will find out
----------
Defensively they’re better.

Rams are like ronda rousey they get lucky and when they lose they cry like pussys

As a Bears Fan, I'm not so sure about them beating either of those teams. If they were up to the challenge, they'd have to turn their defense all the way up to the highest limit. Good Luck, Da Bears, this Sunday Night!

Some Bear fans looking toward the playoffs and wanting the 4th Seed.."Much rather play the Rams than the Saints"

Let's make them dream of the 3rd seed after Sunday night!

I don’t know how Goff isn’t the most motivated person on the planet. The guy just gets disrespected 24/7.

Talked to my brother, a huge Bears fan, who lives 30 miles so. of Chi-Town in Gary Indiana, was listening to local bears radio. Mitch Trubisky's shoulder is still not right and very good chance he will miss another game or more.
Anyone have a handle on Mitch's injury status?

Big Ram advantage if Chase Daniels gets the start.

EXACTLY!!!
Well they are on my hate list along with the Raiders cause their fucking owner sued the league to make it possible for teams to move and then when my team moved he decided to move the same summer. 9ers because they are the 9ers.

Matt Nagy hopeful, but Mitch Trubisky’s availability in doubt vs. Rams
By Mark Potash

Bears coach Matt Nagy is hopeful quarterback Mitch Trubisky can return this week, with circumstances raising the stakes significantly.

After Chase Daniel’s shaky performance in an overtime loss Sunday to the Giants and the prospect of facing the 11-1 Rams on ‘‘Sunday Night Football,’’ Trubisky’s return seems more like a requirement than an elective.

Nagy gave little indication about Trubisky’s status Monday. Trubisky missed his second consecutive game with a sprained right shoulder suffered on a late hit by Harrison Smith on a five-yard run late in the fourth quarter of a game against the Vikings on Nov. 18.

Trubisky threw passes in practice for the first time Friday and also threw before the game against the Giants. His competitiveness and desire to play in a marquee game might make him more likely to play if he’s close. But Nagy wouldn’t even commit to Trubisky practicing in full this week.

‘‘I can’t say that for sure,’’ Nagy said. ‘‘I hope he is. The last several days, he’s getting better and feeling better. So I think it’s only fair . . . that we just keep seeing him throw and see how he feels and then he tells us.

‘‘If he feels — and we feel — like it’s an opportunity for him to go out there and he’s going to be good and safe and our team is good and safe with him in there, then that’s what we’ll do.’’

With Trubisky out, Daniel was efficient in a victory against the Lions on Thanksgiving, throwing two touchdown passes without a turnover, but a liability in the loss to the Giants, with two interceptions — including a pick-six on the second play from scrimmage — and four fumbles.

But even if Daniel had been competent against the Giants, the Bears likely would need Trubisky against the Rams, who are tied with the Saints for second in the NFL in scoring (34.9 points per game) and have scored 30 or more points in 10 of their 12 games.

It likely will be dicey even if Trubisky returns, however. For one thing, he would be playing for the first time in three weeks, so there’s likely to be at least a little rust.

‘‘There’s definitely going to be some of that, for sure,’’ quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone said. ‘‘But he’s had a lot of practice under his belt. We’re deep into the season. He has been off for a little bit, but I don’t expect too much of a drop-off in terms of getting him back and going.’’

And it remains to be seen how vulnerable to contact Trubisky will be. Nagy doesn’t baby his players. If Trubisky can go, he’ll approach the game as though he’s 100 percent. That could be problematic against the Rams, with defensive tackle Aaron Donald on a rampage. The four-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle is on pace for his third Defensive Player of the Year award, with 12½ sacks, 24 quarterback hits and four forced fumbles in his last six games.

Though Trubisky was injured on a running play, the Bears are adamant they won’t curtail his creativity — either on designed runs or as a scrambler. After missing two games, Trubisky has dropped from first to fifth in rushing yards among quarterbacks, but he still leads in rushing average with 7.1 yards per carry.

‘‘I think he’s made the right decisions on when to get down, when to get out of bounds and when to cut back,’’ Ragone said. “And I’ll say this: That’s a true weapon he possesses — his ability to move and run. He has a variable to this offense that makes us hard to defend. And I’m not going to coach that out of him.’’

There's so much wrong in this one little sentence. FFS, somebody spend the time to fact check THIS guy.

Da Bears Defense is one of the best in the NFL, forces turnovers (21 ints), stingy on points and has scored 6 TDs. We need the running game to take control and score TDs (instead of settling for FGs) when we get red zone chances (Note to Reynolds/Higbee/Everett: catch everything thrown your way in the red zone).

Da Bears Offense scores a fair amount of points without having very good receivers (Tarik Cohen/RB is their leading receiver) or an impressive running game other than Trubisky (Note to Ebukam/Fowler: contain Trubisky on scrambles). They do appear to be very opportunistic and streaky - so if things start going well they may ride a wave but if things aren't going well they may lose their punch.

He had 16.5 sacks (crap, didn't see the last 6 game thing at the end; oh well, sucking with it) and last year was his first DPOY. He won Rookie DPOY, but that's not the same. He also won the ACC DPOY, but that's college.

Donald has obviously been on a tear but until I looked it up it did not register just how much damage he has done in the last 6 games: 12.5 sacks, 24 QB Hits, 16 TFLs, 4 FFs. It would be interesting to see how this compares to other great 6 game defensive stretches.

I think the answer to the question of how our fellow Rams brothers can have such a diversity of opinion on our vilest of rivals depends greatly on when you started following our beloved team.
Then I'm an anomaly because I've been a Rams fan since 1975 and my most hated team by far is Seattle! They've earned it. Hate them hate them, hate them!
