I suppose, but there’s no better spot for him than SF and he hasn’t truly succeeded although he’s gotten pretty far. What other NFL team has the running game and defense? Titans already have Tannehill which is about a wash with Jimmy G. Not too sure about any other teams, but any other place for Jimmy G is gonna be a pretty big step down.
Yeah I was having trouble placing him with another better fit, as well. But I think in time we will see him find a home. The Broncos, Steelers and Commodes have been mentioned as possibilities by CBS sports. There is just too much to shake out still.

We don't know what happened. Maybe he started the fight.
Police have video of the interaction, but haven't releases it. Apparently it was over very quick. The 49er fan pushed someone in a Rams jersey and then was dropped with a single shot to the face. That guy left with the man unconscious and they are still looking for him.

I hope that fan who was injured will be ok and that they catch the perpetrator. That said, I have a funny story.

My wife is a whiner fan. She is usually a good sport about it (maybe because the whiners have been kicking our butts). But her and her whiner friends kept talking about how they want to go a shop for whiner super bowl t-shirts and things. That was BEFORE the NFCCG.

Of course now she's mad when I'm trying to watch the replay of the game or even the talking heads previewing the super bowl.

Not that I have any sympathy at this point. :laugh2:

Pushed him then got dropped. Good. Maybe next time he'll show some courtesy.

I read through the 4th quarter comeback on that whiners forum while relaxing in the hot tub. So gratifying haha.

They were soooo cocky and confident walking into that game so glad we won this one. They can’t ever say shit to us until they beat us in the championship game.

I was at the grocery store the day before the game, wearing a Rams 2018 NFC Championship shirt (the one with all the players names on the back, long sleeve). A random guy with no gear of any kind, with his family walks up and yells in my face "RAMS ARE GONNA LOSE!!!!!" He had his family with him and was a complete jerk, like we were back in 5th grade or something. Also said something like "I'd like to wish you luck, but, I won't." That 49 fan made me text my wife and I said "the Rams are going to win! Karma is a bitch and this guy is going to get some". He didn't have to say anything, but went out of his way to be obnoxious. I told him I'd be at the game and it was going to be a great game either way.

That place is fucking toxic - literally the antithesis of ROD. Make an insightful comment and they will smack you down. I felt dumber by the minute reading their vacuous, trill and frankly hubristic posts. Go Fuck Yourselves 69ers!
I remember when Jimmy GQ was their God. He could do no wrong. If anyone even said something like "Hold on, lets pump the breaks on his greatness, we need more of a sample size" they would get attacked by the mob and accused of trolling. That board is non stop homerism and now Trey Lance is the new God. Surprisingly the Seahawks board is more calm and realistic. Most those people are better grounded in their support than whiner fans.

It’s because the SeaHawks fans have won recently so they understand what it takes. Niners just delusional.

Yeah .. that's what I've been saying. Funny thing is, you can't convince 49er fans of that. To them, he should have thrown it out of bounds and then they had a real chance. :laugh4:
Yeah, if he threw it away it would have given them a slight chance. And we all remember what happened on 3rd and 16 twice a couple years ago. Good thing he had the idea to flip it up high enough. He was trying desperately to make a play. Its not like the ball was uncatchable. But Aaron Donald was not gonna be denied. Just a very good play by the defense. They didn't sit back in prevent. They came after him. I don't think any QB was gonna make a play there.

Niner players and fans were more interested in who was going to be in the stands than what was going to happen on the field. And they lost and all of them went home to cry for days.

Wonder if they will be in the stands next week?

Arrest made in altercation that left San Francisco 49ers fan in medical coma, police say

9:56 PM PT
  • ESPN News Services
INGLEWOOD, Calif. -- A suspect was arrested and taken into custody after an altercation that badly injured a San Francisco 49ers fan in a parking lot outside SoFi Stadium during last weekend's NFC Championship Game between the 49ers and the Los Angeles Rams, police said Friday.
Inglewood police Lt. Nicole Loudermilk confirmed that the suspect was taken into custody Thursday night but released no further details. The incident has raised concerns about security at the upcoming Super Bowl to be played at SoFi Stadium.
The 49ers fan, Daniel Luna, 40, had to be put into a medically induced coma after he was punched, fell and struck his head on the ground, Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts Jr. said at a news conference Thursday.
Butts said police sought the man who threw the punch based on a blurry video and the license plate of a car.
Luna, who owns a restaurant in Oakland, was mingling in a crowd of about 16 people at SoFi Stadium, most of them wearing what appeared to be 49ers jerseys, when he pushed a man wearing a Rams jersey from behind, Butts said after viewing the video.
Before that, Butts said, "there didn't seem to be any hostilities.''
When Luna turned to walk away, the man pushed Luna back, the mayor said. When Luna turned, the man punched him in the mouth, causing Luna to fall to the ground and hit the back of his head, Butts said, estimating that the encounter lasted less than five seconds.
Luna was found bleeding in the parking lot about half an hour into Sunday's game, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"It looked like a small altercation that went very bad,'' Butts said. "From one punch and someone falling, hitting their head on the ground. It wasn't like you had people ganging up on somebody and beating them.''
Luna's face was fractured and he was placed in a medically induced coma to prevent internal bleeding from swelling his brain, Butts added.
"What happened to Daniel Luna is reprehensible, and we strongly condemn all violence," the 49ers said in a statement to the LA Times. "We know local authorities in Los Angeles are conducting a full investigation and we're here to support them however we can."
The mayor said the video isn't clear enough to provide a description of the suspect, but he was seen talking to some people in a car. Security won't be increased because of the incident, the mayor said.
"I'm very comfortable there was sufficient security [in the parking lot],'' he said. "There is plenty of security in the parking lot. You're not going to stop every altercation, argument between fans. It's just not going to happen.''
In a statement to the LA Times, SoFi Stadium officials said they were "aware and saddened by the incident" and "working with law enforcement officials."
The Associated Press contributed to this report.
