I never listened to that little bitch again after that. I love that Blade flipped the table and made rome release his true school girl voice for all to hear as he let out his scream of bitchassness.
Actually the bitch scream was edited in more recently by someone ... but it was hilarious nonetheless. :laugh4:

Rome said nothing as he was taken down in the original version we saw on ESPN after it happened.

Recycling old news as new news. Yawn....
Back in March the Rams had a decision to make as Stafford's 2023 & 2024 contracts were becoming guaranteed on the 17th.
Of course they would look to rework that
And they didnt which virtually guaranteed Stafford in Horns in 23 & 24, and outside of him retiring, makes it hard to see him traded in 2025

“We value Matthew highly. Sean made that clear to him in the offseason. Les did. I think everybody did,” Demoff said. “And look, when you hear the report, the part that frustrated me was this notion that we were trying to get away from the $59 million and that was the only way to do it through trade. That tells you that you didn’t have an understanding of the situation. Matthew’s dollars after 2022 were unguaranteed. We could’ve walked away this year, free and clear, for $0. No future money owed. So there was no need to restructure. If we wanted out of Matthew’s deal, we could’ve walked away. We didn’t have to trade him to relieve the $58.5 million. We could’ve just walked away. To me, that’s where there’s a fundamental understanding of what his deal was that drives the narrative, ‘Oh, we were desperately trying to get rid of that.’”

the bolded part should be the headline with pictures of lombardi and blowhard next to it.

fantastic rebuttal from demoff. i bet those two clowns don't even acknowledge his response.

I commented on this topic on Facebook. I basically said that Lombardi made it up and it hasn’t been backed up by any other major. Sports reporters.

Guess who gave me a like? Aaron Donald.

Of course they didn't try and trade Stafford... MAYBE they asked him to re-do his deal, but as he should, he declined to do so.

BUT, I don't believe they tried to trade him, or re-do his deal.

So, you’re suggesting Mike Lombardi is NOT the brilliant football savant he claims to be?!?!

It’s tough to admit you’re no longer relevant. Lombardi is likely fighting hard to hold on to any semblance of relevancy.

So, you’re suggesting that dip-shit WAS relevant at one time?

That’s radical.

I want to see Demoff vs Foolio. At Caesar's in Vegas. Give them each a mic and let them sling some technical shit at each other. Give them both 30 second sound bites. Gotta do a shot after each sound bite. When they both start showing the effects put the gloves on and they go into the ring for a testosterone throw-down.

He said we wouldn't have walked away from Matthew Stafford for nothing.
We walked away from Jalen Ramsey for nothing. Both were aquired with 2 1st round draft picks.

So yeah they c(w)ould have, and the scenario would have involved a Baker Mayfield contract.
Agreed. What is interesting about all this, however, isn't that the Rams would consider it and maybe even have informal conversations with other GMs about it. But rather that they would deny it.

That insinuates to me that either they really do feel loyal to Stafford and pointedly did not consider any offers, which is possible. Or that for whatever reason they don't want to admit they considered making another move after he put up an epic playoff title run.

Whatever the truth is, though, I do think this year is critical for him. I want this guy to win another ring with us, though it is possible the Rams elect to get back to being a team with a QB on his rookie deal.

Florio is what my people call a schmuck.
Yes we all hate him. I call him worse things than schmuck, personally.

He is without a doubt a shit-stirrer when it comes to the Rams. But it is possible the Rams are lying. Not that I care, really, because they tend to flip over every rock annually in considering options and as an organization they have huge cajones when it comes to admitting their mistakes by virtue of shitcanning players who aren't good enough or who they paid too well.
