Leather at night at the game will be hot? Okay thanks for that though I would take it off, maybe thinking of not bringing if Sofi at night is even a hint of warm. Used to those breezy stadiums. I pretty much only bring a jacket at night just in case and if it isn't below 70s cold I'm game for that. Coming from Florida, 5 hr flight... getting close to jacket weather at night there.

23rd through 25th, we're just gonna uber everywhere. Friend said he'll take care of it. He went to the Whiners @ Vikings game with his wife and that's what they did there.

It'll probably be humid in the evening and the stadium is not breezy. Before and after you'll be walking and warm. During, your heart will be pumping.

CAVA is a chain and expanding fast so you might have one in your city anyhow. Likely the same with a kebab shop. Possible skip.

But if you're after seafood, Coni is a staple in Inglewood. Not cheap but portions are large so if you guys are game, get a few things to share.

If you like Indian/Pakistani food or want to be food adventurous, Al Wattan is my strong recommendation. The ambiance is as basic as it gets but the food is exceptional. Get the Tandoori chicken, veg korma, aloo palak, and plain naan bread. Also shareable.

Many good Jamaican places nearby as well. Skipable.

I'm surprised no one has jumped in with a Mexican spot. You're in LA and Mexican is a must.

In n' Out can't be missed unless you've had it and already have a hometown burger that you like better.

Enjoy man!

I’m not talking ‘getting to a Super Bowl’.

I’m talking about everything and anything that could reasonably matter to a diehard fan. Wins and losses. Playoff appearances. Playoff performance. Championships. Exciting victories vs. Brutal defeats. Exceeding expectations vs. great disappointments. Star players. Entertaining games. National attention. Media attention. Player talent. Coaching talent. Front Office talent.

Everything and Anything that reasonably makes it enjoyable to love the Sport and the team one roots for.

The 49ers and Eagles!
No Fucking Way!

The 49ers have been a great regular season team. Better than the Rams. Four NFC Championship Games in five seasons … and NO Lombardis.

Thirty years since they won a Super Bowl. Missed opportunities and brutal disappointments. So close but always short. They are the 1970s Rams.
Except the 1970s Rams were better. They had some weird and unfortunate things derail them, like the mud bowl, the phantom call on Tom Mack, not to mention QB injuries.

Bone unis at home on Thursday night... :sick2:

Oh well. If this is Coop's last game in horns here's hoping he goes the fuck off in a big win.

Yeah.
I was just trying to make the point (having lived through it) that being really good (exceptional even) year-in and year-out but always falling short was brutal; and, ultimately, mostly unsatisfying.

I compare that to the ups-and-downs of the Rams from 1999-2004; and, again from 2017-now. Don't enjoy the disappointments but the four Super Bowl appearances, and the two Lombardi Trophies make those periods far more satisfying ... at least for me ... not trying to speak for others.

So, the 49ers have been really good in recent years; and their four NFC Championship Games since 2019 represents three more than the Rams but I would prefer the Rams' one Lombardi to the Niners' frustrations.

I believe that that’s Arabic. Not sure how authentic their Indian/Pakistani food would be.

I'm not an expert but I believe Urdu is influenced by Arabic. What floored me is a place that's Indian and Pakistani when that's one of the world's top blood feuds. Just when I thought I knew about the world I am shown how little I know.

Al watan is definitely an authentic place because of the people they serve. It might be a niche immigrant but it's entrenched in that community. In any case, it serves excellent food.

If I am ever in the area, will give it a try.:thumbsup1:

Whittington and Noteboom confirmed out.... fantastic. On a lighter note, so is Reeder.

And Puka is questionable.

Also, Noteboom is out... that's odd since he was full all week. Hopefully we didn't just waste another IR return on someone who got immediately reinjured.

Damn was hoping Noteboom could actually play, but as always with Noteboom the only thing you can rely on with Joe is his unreliability.

I'm not feeling it for this game. If our starting lineman, WR1 and WR2 were back and healthy then we'd have a shot. Hopefully the good health starts in Seattle.

As much as I've been throwing in the towel for this season, if Seattle loses to the Bills we'd still only be a game back in the loss column if we lose tomorrow. A week and a half to prepare for Seattle and get guys healthy. Heck, I'm starting to look at AZ as the team we might have to chase. Although I expect Murray to go down at some point. So who knows?
