He’s used that way a lot in the passing game.I don't think anyone has a real problem with Brown just with how he is used sometimes.
He is a very good up the gut runner and that's how he was used last night. Whereas in the games that Brown was getting bashed a little bit, they were using him on outside zone runs and he doesn't have the speed for that.
Run him up the gut and maybe some short passes on first or second down.
In addition, he should be primarily a pass blocker on third down passes and only used as an outlet if the pass protection breaks down.
The game thread has been brutal.
It usually is of course.
Henderson is certainly more explosive but hasn’t, on the whole, been more effective.
The Rams lined Hendo up out wide several times last night, Brown as well.
Two TE set and go empty to try and get mismatches on the WRs.
Rams have rarely thrown to the RBs overall.
The Rams have depth at RB.....which is nice.
