Honestly what is great is that there isn't much to clean up in this game - offense could have scored over 30, defense didn't give up a TD.

Fantastic win all the way around! Our “cool story Bro” moment was while at one of our local watering holes we had a neat encounter. Our sweetheart of a waitress loved our Ram gear and told us all about her cousin who plays for the Rams........ Morgan Fox. I instantly started talking about his Rams history and she just beamed with pride that we knew who he was. She broke out her phone and started with the family pics! Great night, great win! loved the first down denying hit by Ramsey, the stop by Lewis, and the amazing pick by Rapp!!!

Was good to see the D play with that much intensity. I think their chemistry is starting to gel together.

Burgess done for the year?

I needed this this to have some faith restored. The defense was great. The Bears have a weak offense. Only allowing 3 points is impressive. Four teams they played, including Tampa Bay, gave up 20+ to the Bears offense. Only the Giants (17) and Colts (11) held them under that, and we discovered the Giants defense is no joke.

But damn, how does the defense admittedly play soft against the Niners? Did they forget that it was a division rivalry?

As someone who is extremely competitive, I'm baffled by this. We could have used this great defense last week too.
I think it is all about the game plan. Last night was the first time the D came out aggressive at the start. Before last night it seems like they come out to see what the other team is doing before they decide how to play. Defense should always try to set the tempo.

I really think the team was tired from traveling so much. I’m glad we got that out of the way early but if you’ve ever flown coast to coast, that jet lag is real. Your body clock is off and it’s just tough to really get back on a schedule.

IDK, we have to realize these guys are younger and flying on a private jet, which makes a ton of difference then flying commercial. However, in fairness, the Rams have traveled quite a bit, but the 49ers flew to New England and they were just fine.

Going to Philly, coming back to LA, going to Buffalo, back to LA, to Washington, back to Cali. That’s a ton of traveling in just 6 weeks.

I would guess he is. The cart and aircast don't bode well.

Hekker, ST player of the week.
Amazing performance.
Brockers....much, much more active vs the run.
Gaines flashed vs the run and got half a sack as well.
Burgess getting injured hurts because this kid is an excellent tackler.
Good to see Lewis flash some considerable ability as well.
Not counting Woods fumble (I hate O turnover scores count against the D) the Rams D is giving up 17 points a game.
Second half schedule is brutal but if the Rams keep teams around 20 PPG they are gonna win a lot of games.
OL dominated in the run game.
Bears got consistent pressure pass rushing but Goff was decisive, didn’t hold the ball and got rid of it quickly.
It will be nice we can take a break from the endless Malcolm Brown bashing on the board for a week given his 5.7 YPC average.
Mundt with a good game spelling Higbee.

I don't think anyone has a real problem with Brown just with how he is used sometimes.

He is a very good up the gut runner and that's how he was used last night. Whereas in the games that Brown was getting bashed a little bit, they were using him on outside zone runs and he doesn't have the speed for that.

Run him up the gut and maybe some short passes on first or second down.

In addition, he should be primarily a pass blocker on third down passes and only used as an outlet if the pass protection breaks down.

One trip doesn't come close to what the Rams did before the Niner game with three straight home games. Plus yes they did play the Giants and Jets before those 3 but were able to stay there since it was 2 east coast games in the same stadium. Plus the Pats game was still a 1pm PST game something we didn't get to do on the east coast.

Feeling great this morning! My second oldest boy turned 13 yesterday and that win was a great birthday present for him, we finally got some chilly Fall weather here in AZ so we had a back yard fire and celebrated his birthday and the win with some smores
