Proud of Goff for rebounding against a stout top tier defense.

Proud of the teams complimentary football.

Proud of this team for just winning a game after that bad egg at SF last week.

Then what is my problem?

I won't be able to fully enjoy this victory over da Bears if the Rams don't beat the Dolphins.

You are only as good as your last game but the next one can be the most telling of the season in so many ways.

Tua may not even be the best former AlaBAMa product on the field. Might not even be 2nd best if A'Shawn plays.
T-Rex-elle Lewis slammed Cordarelle Patterson on 4-and-1 after throwing 6'3 220 Javon Wims to the ground. I could watch that play over & over.
It seemed not so long ago that teams could run on us at will if they could make it to the edge. If T-Rex can excel at the OLB post, with Floyd at the other side, wow..... this D is gonna feast on some Dolphin.

I cannot recall a corner with as much physicality as that dude brings. Especially the top cover guys. It's impressive.

He did get suckered in the passing game though. Was mostly eye control stuff but still he will need to be more disciplined with that going forward. This league is brutal man if they see a tendency they jump all over that shit.

Agree, can't think of any cb who compares. Ramsay tackles at a level approaching or maybe as good as a great safety.

I'm sure he will adjust on the deep routes. As someone said he must have been reading the pass rush, and knowing Fole's slow release, as well as the route.

But in the grand scheme of things what we're seeing is the synergy of Ramsay playing off AD (as are others in the secondary and up front.) It's starting to show the power of a Rams D built off these two great players working in tandem. Pressure up front with great coverage in back.

Getting Ramsay wasn't just adding a great cb, with AD it's put in place the foundation for the whole defense for the next 5 years.

Yeah and I'll be the first to admit I was skeptical on who he was in terms of whether building around him is smart. My take was "well, we invested the picks in him so we gotta sign him" and that was largely due to the fact I didn't like some of the stuff that went down in Jax but clearly I was wrong about him.

He looks like not only a good human being and locker room player so far, but also one of the top corners in the league (top 5 IMO all things considered) and he can put dudes on their asses which I personally love. I fucking love physical players man.

That crow is tasting pretty damn good right now. :beer2:

No crow to be eaten!! Despite his talent Ramsay certainly couldn't have been considered a sure thing for a high cost trade and deal, at least from an outside the team standpoint. But he's looking like one of the best signings ever right now.

Credit to the Rams for seeing his potential as a player and human being, and for having a vision of what the D could be like with AD up front and Ramsay in back in a new hybrid "star" role.

I hope we can keep Staley for atleast 3-4 seasons before he's poached because the Rams defense is finally starting to look really good. Does anyone know how long Staleys under contract for?

From yesterday's pre-game conversation:

Irritating sports weekend.

Couldn't believe what I was seeing in WS gm 4 on Saturday night.
Yesterday, in a Fantasy Football matchup that should have been a fairly easy win I got clubbed like a baby seal. And while it's always entertaining to watch the Patriots get demolished...it was the 49ers. Very irritating.

Need the Rams to get the win to wash this sports stink off...

The Rams are 2-11 versus the Dolphins all time. Wtf?!

the last 2 were horrible.

the rams were in control of both games and somehow lost at the end.

gz missed a few fgs in the 2012 game. and in goff's debut the rams put up a two score lead in the 1st qtr then fisher put the cue in the rack and wanted to defend the lead. of course they didn't, losing at the death. fricking 9 years of spags and fisher thinking they could defend small leads from early in the game and always falling short.

I remember Kurt and the boys RIPPING the Phins off of those fish back in 2001.
I was there at the Coliseum when they lost to the Fins in the last seconds of the game back in 2016. I think that was Goffs first start.

I understand a lot of this depends on who plays who. But based on this it seems the Dolphins struggle to run. If the Rams can get up early enough, even by a TD, it should be a repeat of the Bears game, where the Rams can tee off on the QB every play and play the pass.

I feel like teams that can't run the ball (like the Bears last night) are going to have the toughest time with the Rams, and will be our easiest wins.

I am so pleased to have been wrong.
I’ll take my humble pie À la mode.
