I'm not saying the game was on goff neccesarily... but he threw an int that led to 3 pts... and we lost by 3 pts.

So while I don't think the game was all because of him - "borderline retarded" if someone thought that.

Take away the punt block and the INT and we win easily... turnovers cost us again and killer penalties.

McVay takes the ball out of goffs hands when we need a TD to go up by 1. It is 3rd and 15 and the coach plays Fisher ball. He has been doing it all year. He needs to call games like he has no D. Let the O play. Chicken shit football. Then when we need a 3rd and 4 he calls 2 deep balls? It would be nice if goff could lead his man a tad more, but not the right call. Do that on 1st down.

I watched every snap, and he got outplayed by Sam Darnold. That is what actually happened.

Terrible 1st half including another laughable INT, and crumbled under pressure all night with happy feet. Skipped two balls to WRs on 3rd down. Got lucky and should've thrown a 2nd INT to Everett but the defender tipped it straight up.

Chance to win the game late but doesn't. People want to blame the 3rd/4th and 4 calls on McVay, when Goff was the ones making the decision. There were other receivers on those plays, not just one place to go with the ball.

And those three points wouldn’t matter if the special teams did their job and didn’t allow a punt blocked. We can go back and forth on hypotheticals but the fact is, when the game was still winnable, there were two stupid play calls. Called by McVay, executed by Goff. We don’t know what the instructions on either play were, we know that they were stupid calls considering the situation.

And didn't we have a blocked punt? And a kick returner get tackled by a kicker?

This was a total team loss. Ten days off was just a detriment to this team.

I didn't have the problem with the throws. My problem is with the playcall. Just run it or kick the fg for fuck sake.

That’s bullshit man.. I’ve been a fan for 40 years.. yup 40 years. Because I don’t post much doesn’t matter. I have an opinion on this team. I live and die by this team on Sundays, just like all of us. Thought this is what this board was all about. I want us to go 19-0 every damn year. ehh while i agree he needs to do better with timeouts.

It had little bearing on the end of this game... we had 2 timeouts plus the two minute warning and couldn't stop them.

With a timeout left we could have gotten the ball back with 30 secs left and no timeouts IF we stopped them which we hadn't done twice already.

McVay and Goff are the purgatory combo. Good, but not great. You want to move on but can't because there are not any realistic better options available, and you will win too many games with them to ever draft superstars. Only if the stars align - which they might once or twice - can they take you to a superbowl. We are the Atlanta Falcons, albeit with a different style of roster.

I definitely know though I don't want to move on from McVey Goff I'm getting nervous about very nervous. It's crunch time now not only for this season butoving forward in general.
