Ill say this about the refs, they screwed us on some big calls, but if they actually called holding on ATL through out the game, I dont think those big calls matter. Bc ATL'S offense who have been obsolete. Why do you think they ran it with so much success? Every single time they would do a replay of a successful run there was a blatant hold on our dlinemen.

This is what scares me. I think what Puka said is going to affect us going forward. They'll throw us a bone every now and then, but those holds that allow what was suppose to be a negative yd run turn into a 4 yd run, or a hold that should have resulted in a pressure or sack, they're going to let those slide. Those smaller penalties not called add up to be greater impacts than 1 non PI call or a holding call that was really the defender falling.
It shouldn't matter what he said.
Are their egos that bad that they cannot do their jobs properly & with impartiality?
If not they WILL get replaced by robots & AI "referees". You don't see that coming? I do.
Or is it the epidemic of sports gambling -- bookies getting to the refs?? I can only guess but at some point, if it doesn't get better imma just tune out. Like this:

Didnt even need to be a perfect pass, he was so incredibly open
And I'll say this, Atwell blew it by not selling that obvious PI on the next play
Yes, i thought the same thing. Tutu could have sold it at the moment, then gotten up and do the flag throwing motion that tons of WR's do and get the flag thrown after the fact. I didn't see him fight for the flag at all. Tutu has mailed it in with his lack of playing.

This is my opinion; the NFL is a flawed product, and it is because the games are not officiated well enough. There is too much money involved in this sport for the outcome to be determined by some dumb asses that the only way they could ever get on an NFL field is by officiating a game. I have said before with the technology we have these days it is inexcusable for the outcome of these games to be in the hands of these incompetent boobs. When I have made this argument in the past people respond with the argument well then you are losing the human element; to which I respond the human element has not been good enough.

The Rams looked like they treated this as a preseason game to me. Vanilla scheme and all. Still tough to watch though. Why do they hate us so much?

That was disappointing and I truly need a break from this team because watching them has become hazardous to my health.

It shouldn't, but they are human. If someone you work with calls you out and says that you basically suck and only do things for attention, how are you going to be when working with them going forward? You may take the high road and have it not effect you, but you are not everyone. I look at it as, if thats how they think of me and my job, why should I care about theirs? It's not like the refs ever really get penalized for calling a bad game.

And it would be easy for NY to correct the blantantly wrong calls. Makes me wonder why they do not ....

I believe Quentin Lake went down in the Seattle game. Defense did well without him next game with an injured Mayfield who didn't play the second half. After that they allowed over 29 points per game the next 5 games. Was he that big of a difference? Or are there other issues?

There are 4 games left that matter and the AZ game isn’t one of them

We do not have a backup left tackle

That’s all
“for now”

December has been a complete disaster for this team. We fumble away the #1 seed and the Division Title, we secure ourselves the worst possible wildcard matchup in Philly on the road in January, we worsen our draft pick, Stafford throws away his MVP case, and we enter the playoffs on a losing streak.

Still everything to play for but I have lost all confidence in this team’s ability to play complementary football.

I dunno about that.
MLB umpires have been taking WAY more crap from players AND managers for years.
I think the NFL protects these guys and gals far too much.

Sometimes a little verbal abuse is the required incentive for paying better attention to the play.

What did I take out of the debacle last night?

1. The team was seriously flat, especially in the first half. Not sure how that doesn't fall squarly on Coaches shoulders.
2. If Humphries is our only back up option at LT we are truly fucked if AJ goes down
3. The Refs officially hate us

Finished watching the second-half...my words fail me.

Complete, total and absolute no-shows in the first half. As many good things they did in the 3Q and to tie it up in the 4th, still a shit-show of a performance virtually all the way around.

What the fuck with the NFCSouth...a garbage performance on the road in Carolina and another in Atlanta.

Team has given it's best effort at pissing away what could have been a very special season for the organiztion. It's fucking infuriating....

Finally saw the Nacua catch after reading all about it on the forum...what a bunch of bullshit.

Somebody on the rules committee needs to put together two=hours of highlights from the 70s and 80s so everybody can understand what a fucking catch is. How the NFL continues to fuck up that most simple of evaluations and calls is mind-numbingly absurd.
