Peaked too soon?

Look, this team can beat any team. They can also lose to any team.

Right now they just are not closing out games...and that is a theme this year.

So I have no idea what they will do in the playoffs although they have made the road much tougher.

Stafford simply has miserable games like this. We see it every year. I think he lost MVP tonight but maybe that is a good thing to shift focus back toward team goals.

McVay says starters will play against the Cards but I think it is less about seeding than it is about trying to right this ship. For his sake, and the team's sake, they need to win this game in strong fashion before heading into the playoffs. If they stumble in with three straight losses and no confidence it will be a short, ugly trip.
.
They need to fix this...and quick.

.

So sick of hearing about how the Rams beat themselves.

They've beaten themselves 5 times this season.

They better get their shit together when they play the Eagles. Don't want to hear about how they beat themselves again.

I am sure this has been addressed last night.

Yes the Humphries penalties hurt. I really think a lot of it was scheme related. Morris knows are offense and probably some elements of our D to attack it .

The D line is just not getting the pressure it did during the win streak. We need answers on this. What has changed?

The refs fucked us too though. The ATL O line was holding the entire night. Ford was put on the ground. BTW, I could swear that the second to last play was a catch.

So do we root for Seattle next week? (Serious question) I think so

Why not use our TO’s before Atlanta crossed the 50 yd line for the game winning FG

Could have given our offense another minute or so to go down and do something. McVay just let the clock run down….like he was sure they were going to miss the FG. Weird.

Am I missing something??
I was standing up in my living room shouting to use the timeouts. I think we let nearly 30 seconds tick away to the 2 min warning.

I am not sure what we were thinking.

I want to know why Verse wasn't in the same spot on the last FG as he was on the blocked FG.

He might have put pressure on the kicker again. You never know.

I didn't get to see the game but I will watch it to see what happened.

But it appeared that the Rams did not come to play in the first half from what I saw.

Possibly moping about their lost chance at winning the division and getting a first round bye.

Plus Staffords pick six was just horrible from the replay I saw.

It's simple, 2 wks in a row.
Good teams win, they will always find a way to win the game.
Bad or mediocre teams don't, they always find way to loose.
Not being in the game for the first 1/2 and having awful QB play with turnovers is a disaster every time.

I think that they would have if the Falcons didn't get a 1st down on that first play.

The way things went, the Falcons could have simply just run out the clock until it was time to kick the FG if they had.

I want to be more angry but I’m not.

Play like this sucks the care right out of me.
The last 2 weeks have taken the excitement from me. I have been rooting for the Rams for nearly 40 years and this is the least excited I have ever been about the Rams going to the playoffs.

Verse throwing up a peace sign was unnecessary and honestly ill-timed with the way the defense has been playing of late.
