He could ask for next year's second round, a first in 2024, and a player/later round pick, I suppose.Panthers gm won't be around in 2025 so that's probably why.

Very little chance Chubb would be a rental. But yeah give me Chubb and kamara or Hunt. Here's my, off the cuff, gut feelings about the players who we've been connected to...
Brian Burns - YES. Get him if you can.
Alvin Kamara - YES. Get him if you can.
Kareem Hunt - MAYBE. Only if we can extend him beyond this season.
Bradley Chubb - NO. Too much trade compensation for a likely rental.
Brandin Cooks - MEH. If the price is reasonable, sure, but not a priority.
Others? I'd be fine with a trade for a pass rusher, RB or OL, as long as the price is somewhat reasonable and the player acquired is signed at least through next season.
Otherwise... just ride this season out with what we have, I guess.
maybe not but still like 6 hours of tradeline left.Welp I think we can wrap this thread up. I doubt the Rams pull the trigger on anyone this year.
Well, since you said that, Now there WILL BE a Rams' trade.Welp I think we can wrap this thread up. I doubt the Rams pull the trigger on anyone this year.
Chubb is a UFA this offseason. So, absent an extension or a franchise tag, he'd be a rental.Very little chance Chubb would be a rental. But yeah give me Chubb and kamara or Hunt.

I find it hard to believe that the Rams went from trading two more firsts for Brian Burns to packing it up. 5 hours to go. We'll see.Welp I think we can wrap this thread up. I doubt the Rams pull the trigger on anyone this year.
I only like the term "rental" if it's known he won't be coming back. So I guess we're just splitting hairs on personal opinion on the definition.Chubb is a UFA this offseason. So, absent an extension or a franchise tag, he'd be a rental.
If I knew the Rams could aquire Chubb and extend him, I'd be all in.
Assuming its true (not a given)... wow, for both teams. The Rams' willingness to overpay, and the Panthers' decision to say no... both surprising.
For the record, I'd love to have Burns on this team for the next few years, but... two firsts?

Please contact Les Snead immediately!Which is fine. I feel like you can get a Brian Burns type pretty easily.
Or lack there of.Man starting to get nervous that I’m going to be really disappointed with our “moves” today…
Important note, contract is what it is for any trades done today.
