Understood and agree with the first sentence. Problem is that there are 30 other teams; and more than a couple could be interested. That's why I think a trade could require a 2nd round pick (maybe a 3rd and 4th).I don’t disagree. But they get that 3rd sooner and it’s higher than a comp.
I would think Chubb is worth a second.
The gamble for the Rams would be a likely 3rd round comp pick (around #100 overall) in 2024, in exchange for a mid-to-late second rounder (say #50-60 overall) in 2023, plus three months of Bradley Chubb ... assuming Chubb leaves via free agency.
