Colts just announced they are benching Matt Ryan and Frank Reich named Sam Ehlinger for the rest of the season. They are in full tank mode. Wonder if they’ve got anything we might be interested in

I'm torn on Hunt, don't really want someone on the roster who has done some of the things he has done in the past. But I've been reading that he has been a model citizen since arriving at Cleveland and does a lot of work with kids. So maybe he has matured quickly. I trust McSnead if they go that route. He has been known to be a reliable pass blocking RB as well so would be a good get.

Ryan's arm is toast. It is hard watching him throw the football. There is nothing behind those throws. I like Ryan and the Colts so was hoping that'd turn out better for both but it is time to pull the ripcord. Actually surprised Reich has the stones to do it now.

This is strange to me because they are a .500 team in a division they could still win. Ryan just threw for 390 yards 8 days ago.

I'm betting we inquired with the Browns on Hunt and Johnson, they know that both are free agents next year and Hunt will command probably many times more then Johnson to resign. We made an offer and now they want to see if anyone can beat our offer. Honestly hope we didn't offer too much. He will be a free agent in short time and he's a RB. Most i'd offer is a 4th, and that seems generous.

I’m always scared with what we offer and give up. It’s always too much imo. Too aggressive for my tastes. This will be a scary 7-8 days for me.
But we usually get our guy (CMC excluded) and win the bidding. I’m happy we lost out on CMC - ultimately will be one of those best trades we didn’t make.

Hunt has juice and is a dual threat back. I honestly think he can be a better pickup than CMC since he shouldn't cause our draft cupboard to be bare.

Hunt in this offense is like a Mega CJ Anderson… nifty feet and hard running, but better speed, explosion and cutting ability.

Hunt improves us and let’s Hendo be the change of pace back which is his best role.

I still have a feeling that they’re gonna ask for the moon and I think we may not get him…

In your opinion what would be too much for Hunt? I think a 3rd is about as high as we should go.

For Hunt, I wouldn't trade more than a 5th and maybe a 6 or 7. Shouldn't be too high for a player you only get a partial season out of and hasn't done a whole lot in years.

I’d be happy with a trade for Hunt and Alex Wright. Wishful thinking but it kills two birds with one stone.

I wonder if Akers, another player and picks could get it done.

The Saints only have two wins. Would they move Cam Jordan?

Is the Bears Dominique Robinson an upgrade over Lewis and Hollins?

Jerry Hughes on the Texans?

I recently watched the video of Hunt in the hotel, and his apology for it afterward. My take was that he was remorseful and felt embarrassed. Just got a good vibe from the way he apologized, it seemed mature and genuine.

We haven’t really seen what Williams can do. Every team in the league knows the Rams need a runningback. I’m guessing even a middle of the road type will be costly.
Yeah and what makes me angry is this situation was so predictable. But anyway. Onwards and upwards hopefully with some fresh blood added to this backfield. It is a desperate need.

Also and btw someone mentioned Gesicki, forget who, but he is another weapon who is being relatively ignored and we do have a shambles of a TE room.

For edge I'm thinking it's gonna be the offseason. Might well be wrong there but I don't see this team winning any bids for a cornerstone type (i.e. LT, Edge, Corner).

Yep, it was predictable.

As a PSU alum I’d love Gesicki. I’d love him on the Rams even if I didn’t go to PSU.

Watching Cowherd it sounds like this is the year to pick up a WR. (Jeudy , Hamler, Claypool).

I wish it was the year to get an edge.
