A panel an hour seems a bit on the fast side. I think in the nine days that elapsed since the last picture I found I count about 9-10 new panels. That would make progress at about 1 per day, which means that in mid to late April the roof should be completed.

Looks like we've passed the 50% threshold on the roof. A previous post had mentioned approximately 1 panel per hour was now being lifted into place.

You might note that more people are working on the roof now than in the past, perhaps as more assets are devoted to this area the process has sped up a good bit.

I'm in no position to verify the near 1 per hour installment rate, I can only direct you to the narrative voiced on the JonRam99 video post from the previous page (post #577). If accurate, we're still likely only looking at 7 - 8 panels per day at best.

We know you do have a choice in air travel, and Thanks for flying Southwest Airlines! :D
LOL.....Well.... You know I love you both. That being said, I have been an airlines snob and not been a fan of SWA because of seating and lack of FC. However.... we are flying down to Cozumel (because you guys joined the route). But... we are flying down on AA first class, then flying back with you guys. ;)

I would take First Class any day over free on SWA.

Just did a couple weeks ago to DFW and back. :D

I hope you find our service enjoyable.

And once again, thank you for flying Southwest Airlines.

We love both of you as well.

Is that just a white film over some of the panels, or are they going to stay White? Does anyone know?
I'm pretty sure that's part of the panels and will lend to an opaqueness. They said it cut about 60% of UV rays and some of the radiant heat.

I read a while back that ETFE gets clearer over time. As for any pigments in the actual polymer, they may also sun bleach, depending of their nature.

I think one vid said that the ETFE sheets are 60% "fritted", meaning they have a permanent dot pattern on them that screens 60%. From the underside you'll be able to see through it, but kinda like those screened images in the backs of pick-up truck windows. maybe the SoFI logo will be screened in?

I actually saw a CGI field view of SoFi field that blew my mind. On the Rams site, look at "Rams 2020 NFL Draft Picks set" to see what I'm talking about. When you look up from the field, you see the sky. The white painted framework holds the ETF panels, and then the open sides of the stadium, with the Occulus above. It will be the coolest stadium on Earth. This picture gave the reality of the clear blue skies of a covered stadium, or what it will become.
