I usually don't like to make serious predictions because I am superstitious. Maybe I end up regretting this. But I have this calm and confidence right now that I haven't had the last few times we've played them. I think we're going to break the streak. I feel like surviving that meltdown against Brady is going to give this team the confidence and belief that this is their year. I also think they're still peeved about how Week 18 went and want to make a statement.

Matt Stafford is cooking right now. Von Miller has stepped his game up for the playoffs. I think our big-time players are going to win the day. Beating the 49ers with their style isn't easy, but I think we come out next weekend and play to our potential. We are going to sustain our effort for four quarters and send those guys packing. That's the feeling I have in my gut.

I feel the same way. The Rams are playing well enough to win these next two games. They just seem to be elevating. I think they get it done too. :fire1::fire1::fire1:
Stafford is completing around 75% of his passes, is averaging 10+ YPA, and has 6 TDs to 0 TOs in 2 games. He has stepped it up for the playoffs. He's not making the mistakes that killed us late in the year. It's that sort of play plus the way our DL is playing that gives me confidence. Donovan Smith is a good LT, and Von Miller straight-up took him to school all night long.

Just to be clear, you've had no Taco Bell tonight?

Yeah the DL has been in the zone and tbh these last two games have been their best. And we've seen DL lead teams to the Lombardi (ahem Giants), it's a position that plays well vs different opponents when dominating.

Re: Stafford the only concern is the pass pro vs the 9ers. He gets aggressive when he's pressured. The guy is playing at a really high level though I agree. Oh and the 9ers are also dominating with their DL. Which makes this game have a really interesting "dogfight" dynamic. Both teams know where the heart of the fight is.

If they get by the 9ers I think they're gonna win it all because neither of those remaining teams will intimidate the Rams up front. This game is crazy big IMO for that reason. We are really close here. It's torture. :laugh4:

Rams were up 17-0 on these bitches just two weeks ago, then dumb mistakes, etc., etc.

Rams are going to destroy them next week. Like, beat down destroy. No doubt about it!

Oh and btw... Don't look now but Scott had an even better game this weekend. Talk about something that bodes well. That INT was a big boy play and it wasn't the only play where he swooped a bit from that roost. :laugh2:

Nick Scott needs to remain a starter. You can see the difference his 4.43 40 makes out there. His range and ball-skills should have been employed in that spot earlier in the season. Rapp simply isn't good in that role. Put him in the box as a big nickel. He's not a split safety.

We should win. We're objectively the better team and we're playing at home. But so were the Packers and Cowboys.

I'm not jinxing it but I am optimistic.

Two second half meltdowns in three weeks. This is why I hate that McVay shuts everything down in the second half with a two score lead. I know he wasn't exactly doing it today but I'd rather that this team played all the way to the whistle even in blowouts, instread of the laid back defense and three runs and out office. In season its practicing to play mediocre football in the second half. It creates bad habits imo.

I feel good about the game and almost expect a blowout.

Not to jinx it because the Niners defense makes games close, but they had some lucky breaks last time around and I expect us to shut down their run.

.

the whiners fucking suck.

i posted before that in 3 of the games in the losing streak the rams probably had a 99% chance to win when the defense walked on the field at the end of the games. they just fucked up.

play good defense and they will wipe the floor with the whiners.
