If he thought he could sashay up to the sideline for a check, I'd remind him how much he owes in fines and then confiscate his ride as collateral.

I think he's already blown through this years salary in fines (or at least close)...

This is probably a ridiculous emotional statement, but after about 1:00 Sunday, I don't really care where (or if) he plays football this year..I honestly didn't think it would get to this point...

I am a Los Angeles Rams fan. Which means I root for the players on the field unless they are on IR. If a player chooses not to be on the team, then as far as I'm concerned, he's not a Ram. I'm for pulling all offers off the table until he shows up ready to participate. I wouldn't trade him. Let him stay in Pitt and find another job that pays him 2 million dollars a month. (if that is indeed the vicinity of the offer).
I should have said Rams fan. I have been a Ram fan since around 1960 continuously

Whomever is at fault, AD or the Rams, the NFL and the players association need to figure out a better cap situation than this.

This isn't cute, entertaining, funny, etc... as something of an NFL newb not accustomed to this kind of shit I can tell you this is an enormous turnoff toward the league as a whole.

No. He's not doing freak all for us now. If he gets hurt, at least it's towards helping us win.
But we've seen in the past players not in camp get hurt on return. Working out really isn't the same as getting in game shape.

I would make the argument the average American is at more of a health risk driving to work everyday...

You can make that argument. You can also argue that the Rams are still playing in St. Louis, but reality is what reality is.

The media makes it sound like the Rams don't want to pay him , but the salary cap prevents it this year . No win situation I guess .

Does anyone know how Chancellors holdout went? He held out for two games and then signed. I wonder if Seahawks fans were frustrated like we are.

Sashay my @$$... I wouldn't let him in the building unless, maybe, he buys a ticket! ;)

i know several people than have died on the job. I don't think anyone has died on the Pro football field. It's much safer on the field than where a lot of these men grew up. I bet the death percentage among police officers is much higher than the NFL. I bet more kids have drown in swimming pools than have been killed in an NFL game.

This is an obvious strawman.

you win...the NFL is the most dangerous job and they are very underpaid. Its those construction workers that need a pay cut.

Another strawman. This discussion might go somewhere if you decided to address my points.
