To what end? Say someone in here has the knowledge of skills to figure out the "problem" with Goff. Then what? Does that same someone have a pipline to McVay that we can also set him straight with this sage wisdom? Look, I'm not averse to dissecting his mistakes or using hindsight to correct them for him, but ultimately none of it is within our control. Bashing the guy (not saying you're doing it) only further warps the image you have of him as you lay in wait for him to fuck up again. And then that perpetuates a cycle of wanting him to fail, believe it or not, so that you can drop the ever-devastating discussion-ending "I told you so." And that - in turn - only diminishes the appreciation and quality of his good performances. I've seen a million times, and I know it leads to nowhere.
I knew Case Keenum wasn't the answer, but boy did I have fun rooting for the guy.
