The Goff Thread

Two areas Goff needs to improve the most:

Vertical passes- he’s hit these
In the past. Think a Everett vs Chiefs, Cooks vs New Orleans for the win, Cooks in the Super Bowl( though Cooks dropped it). If Goff can get his vertical back we are home free. Too
Many misses on these lately.

Ball security- Goff is used to aggressively pushing the ball and scoring. With a top defense with Staley Goff needs to aim for Ball security as priority 1. No one is going to beat us if we win the turnover game now. But Mcvay can help here by using the rollouts. Allow for throwing the ball away vs forced passes or sack
Fumbles.

This topic is spinning in circles and needs a break. It will be reopened, but it’s not going to be an open vent thread.

ROD is a fan site. A site for fans of the team, which implies love, which implies we need to be done venting.

When I read a thread and see members taking jabs out of frustration toward each other, that’s not fun to read... and that’s a sign we have a thread that doesn’t fit our culture as a whole.

I always tell people to read past a thread, skip it, if you don’t like like the topic.

But this one feels different. There has been good discussion here. But timeout for a breather.
