I remember in the 80’s my dad use to buy Rainier. I recently went up north to Oregon and Weed they had Rainier, it is no longer available this far south, but man did I enjoy that beer when I tried it on tap…
My wife and I used to buy Ranier pounders all the time when we lived in Portland. Good, cheap beer.

Got my eyes out, for some Narragansett LIGHT...
..though truth be told, probably have to settle for regular Narragansett being 3,000 miles from east coast...

Total Wine - here we come!!!
I like the Gansett Fresh Catch better

What about your other favorite? Olympia

We had that on tap at Pig Feathers, ~ 503
We actually did have that on tap as a guest beer early on but they closed up shop shortly after. It was still available but brewed somewhere on the east coast I believe. Screw THAT.

I'm in Oregon this week visiting my cuz. He has all kinds of good IPAs, but I can't drink more than a couple of em. I prefer a dark and stormy or some other cocktail these days... Then coast on lighter beer.

Deschutes Fresh Haze is a fave of mine tho.

And speakin on the Deschutes, this is a view from their patio.

I don't really miss any beer because it's not my adult beverage of choice... but in the spirit of the OP I will give one that I haven't seen listed.

My 1st beer that I drank on my own before I was legal is one that I almost never see here on The Mainland. I have seen it on the West coast, but not here in F-L-A.

I used to love Lowenbrau in the '80's. I think Miller imported or made it in the US. Miss that. Tonight....let it be Lowenbrau!

Primo -- cool, I had never heard of it. I see that in 1997 they discontinued manufacturing it and in 1999 Pabst Brewing Company acquired the rites and in 2007 brought it back. Wonder if it has the same taste? Apparently it is in many bars and stores throughout the Hawaii.

We didn't have all that much choice when I first drank beer here down under ... probably only the four in the early nineties.

The four in order of preference ..

1. Melbourne Bitter - Still like this one. Despite only launching on taps in 2015, Melbourne Bitter was initially brewed in 1936 by brewers Jack Prendergast and Nick Deheer before being sold to Carlton & United Breweries later that year. The beer was initially popular in regional Victoria, but has had a resurgence among city dwellers over the past decade.

2. Carlton Draught - Carlton Draught on tap in most pubs around Victoria, and is also found in the ACT, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, and Western Australia. It was originally brewed by Carlton Brewery, one of the six major Australian breweries that merged in 1907 to become Carlton & United Breweries.

3. Victoria Bitter - VB as it’s more commonly known, is Australia’s highest-selling beer. It was developed in 1854 by Thomas Aitken, founder and head brewer of the Victoria Brewery. Despite the name, VB is actually a lager, not a bitter. Had too much of this in my youth.

4. Fosters - I tasted this once and loathed it - I may try it again but we hardly see it down under anymore. Apparently Fosters is still an iconic Australian beer and was first brewed in Melbourne in 1888. Conceived by two American brothers, William, and Ralph Foster, the beer has become popular in the United Kingdom, and the United States of America.
