Hopefully Peters sits and gets that long rest heading to Seattle

rather have Peters play against the vikings then seattle... vikings with maybe the best WR tandem in the league.

But I'd not put money on him playing this week...

what's the time table for surgery on a high ankle sprain?

We're lucky we didn't skimp on our CB depth...Sam Shields and Troy Hill can play..... we'll eventually get back to full strength.... we have versatility Joyner can line up on the slot if teams think they're going to put 4 wide out on us because we're down a couple guys..

this team is built to deal with this...

If both those guys are 100% for the playoffs, we'll be alright. We will almost certainly win the division, we are ahead by 2 games already. I'm just hoping we get home field and a bye week.

Peters carted off....day to day
Talib walks off...needs surgery and goes to IR

Sure didn’t see that coming

Need some long drives to keep the D fresh and not expose the new secondary after a whopping 3 days of practice.

The thing that's different this time vs the Vikings, is that neither team is the same as last year. From the "what their saying" thread, fans were derisive and angry about their Oline as Cousins was getting killed. What's different? We have Ndamukong Suh and a healthy Michael Brockers (and Aaron Donald, of course). Our Front is dang good and they should collapse the pocket on Cousins. Just before this game, we were all assured about the deep reserve of DB's, so next men up concerning the replacement of Talib and Peters vs the Vikings...Either that's true or it's not.

Back to the offense, we are different and more explosive than last year. Sammy Watkins non-factor is gone, and a guy like Brandin Cooks is an absolute star. Goff, Gurley, Woods, Kupp, and even Higbeast got in the game vs the Chargers.

The Rams should blow apart the Vikings, and that's a non-homer take.
