The o-line was certainly crap against the Bears... Against Detroit they were okay.
O line was so bad they (Bears) rarely or never had blitz and that shut down the run. Our guys were on roller skates or just whiffed. Goff was getting killed (hit to the head not called). Goff needs to buy the O'line some Rolexes or something to get them back to where they were.

Maybe ... just maybe... Goff had no run game, bad play calling, no protection, confusion with his WRs, back to back road games, cold, loud, getting over an illness and faced the best D in the league playing the biggest game of their season?

He wasn't good, but its not as if he had a chance to look good in those conditions.

Honestly, he might have been worse vs the Lions.. but the team wasn't.

AND a head coach whos mind froze up calling the worst game of his life not feeding the ball to Gurley when the game was close the entire time.a blowout i can understand, hard to play catchup that way,but a close game the whole time? what the hell was that!!!!!!!! god at LEAST go down swinging with your best weapon on offense!!!!!!!

Looks to me as if the Rams need to do some self scouting.

Somethings amuck. A twitch, a look, or a stance is telegraphing certain plays.

Our O has been shut down too easily.

I would ask what happened to the oline.

and Reynolds.

Goff played well considering he had a collapsed pocket every snap and WR’s that couldn’t rise to the occasion.

Goff was at Fault for 1 interception.

He might be just suffering from a "dead arm" at this point. He doesn't have a thick core, so might be putting more pressure on his arm than guys like Rothilsberger or Rivers.

Would be nice if he could get a break with a running game and maybe time off during the Cards & Niner game. Not saying he sits out, but maybe with the game in hand, be able to leave in the 3rd or early 4th qtr. And not having to throw 40 times a game down the stretch.

Get Kelly and Davis involved with Gurley and pound the rock.

The O-Line has gotten significantly weaker as the season has gone on. Goff has gone from the 4th least pressured to being pressured at one of the highest rates in the league, the old guys are slowing down as the season goes on.

We need to replace with youth ASAP.

And stop asking them to protect on 7 step drops all day.

There was a big issue with our pace of play. The offense was poorly prepared for this road game and didn’t practice signals very well for this one. As a result, we couldn’t keep the the defense on their heals with tempo and we took the entire play clock on most snaps.

I think Goff got his bell rung from the Chief’s game and did not want to let McVay know about it because Goff’s a gamer.

And lately Goff was off the mark in both the Lions and Bears game.

McVay needs to use Gurley more and also the TEs or else Goff will not be able to with stand the hits he’s getting.

The only thing that has gotten weaker is mcvay playcalling.

Yeah, seemed the cold weather aged them quickly last night. They were dominated.

Need to keep adding depth there in case either Noteboom or Allen do not work out. Can't let this line fall apart like it did in the early 90's in front of Everett, which short circuited his career.

Hold on. Either my phone went dumb or I did. Or something is wrong with the site (not likely, probably me).

lol bro.. seems to me you are calling a bunch of people including a mod (who really try to be positive almost always): bitches.

I guess everyone deals with losing in their own way. Hope you feel better.

He's been hit in the head several games in a row without a penalty bring called. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he sustained a concussion and is trying to work through it.

I know he took a headshot against Seattle. I think he got one in NO, although I didn't get to watch that whole game so I might be making that up. He took the double headshot in KC. I don't know about last week. He got snacked on the head at least once this game that wasn't called. His dome is taking a lot of punishment that the NFL is supposedly trying to avoid for is star players.

Not trying to excuse him or anything, but it's a thing that's happening almost every week now.

(That's better. It was me. I'm a dumbass. Just ask @LesBaker )

Exactly. Snapping the ball with 1 second left on the clock 99% of the game will not cut it.
