No one posted on that thread for over a week....it was dead
Then right after the bears game the first post from a dead thread was "Do you think Jared goff is elite still"
Yeah I'll stick by what I posted.

No way that thread was dying bro.. that thread been going for like a month. But yeah one person reviving it doesn't equate with the narrative that everyone hates Goff or whatever...

But yeah agree to disagree i guess!

OK, so I guess I should revive this thread since he had a another bad game right? What happened during the dang bye week??"

But really, I actually thought he improved in this game and is trending up. He missed a couple of gimme throws, no doubt. He didn't even look at open receivers a few times, getting locked in again. BUT, he also made some good plays and with his teammates playing a tad better, we'd have won this game.

I love (sarcastic) how guys quoting stats point to his not throwing a TD in this game. Did they not watch? He basically threw a great pass and they called a TD, then rightly reversed it, placing ball 6 inches out. Sure, go ahead and paint a picture of Goff not being able to get near a TD lately. Whatever.

In any event. It ends now. I have no doubt Goff is going to continue upward trend and will be peaking (along with his team) just in time for their playoff run after their first round playoff bye.

If you follow baseball, you know that a really good hitter will sometimes go into a slump. The only way to come out of a slump is to keep swinging the bat. I think Goff is in a quarterback slump right now. He has to keep dropping back and throwing the ball to work his way out of it. He's got two games to get back to normal.

It’s funny, Brees has struggled over the last 3 weeks as well. He has 2 TDS and 3 INTS. Granted Goff’s numbers are worse, but the difference is the Saints won their close games and Rams lost theirs. If the saints had dropped 2 of the last 3 would the narrative be the same? Just a thought.
