I can't express how much I hate seeing two of my favorite Ram brothers so confrontational.
PEACE.

He had 800 yards as a No. 3 WR on a team that won the Super Bowl. That doesn’t make him a world beater, but JAG? No, he’s better than JAG.The answer is no but on this board I first saw the term JAG used and #12 is definitely just that. I hope he proves me wrong but he's been given several opportunities over the last couple of years to step up and has failed to do so.
So 47 yards a game a game and he had 23 receiving yards in the Super Bowl when we desperately needed somebody to step up when OBJ went down. Thankfully Henderson and Hopkins did.He had 800 yards as a No. 3 WR on a team that won the Super Bowl. That doesn’t make him a world beater, but JAG? No, he’s better than JAG.
You don't think 3 ticks of half a hundred a game for a #3 is pretty freakin good? Wasn't he dinged for the SB but had to go in because of OBJ? And guess what? We won. But back to VJ. 47 yards per game is damn good for a #3 WR.So 47 yards a game a game and he had 23 receiving yards in the Super Bowl when we desperately needed somebody to step up when OBJ went down. Thankfully Henderson and Hopkins did.
He played in the SB with an injured knee that required surgery. So 47 yards a game a game and he had 23 receiving yards in the Super Bowl when we desperately needed somebody to step up when OBJ went down. Thankfully Henderson and Hopkins did.
You make him sound like a real good #3 WR like Tyler BoydYou don't think 3 ticks of half a hundred a game for a #3 is pretty freakin good? Wasn't he dinged for the SB but had to go in because of OBJ? And guess what? We won. But back to VJ. 47 yards per game is damn good for a #3 WR.
No shit? I knew there was a reason I bought all that SB 56 merchandiseAnd guess what? We won.
Well I figure you were just speaking off the top of your head, so I understand why you picked the 3rd best #3 WR last year.....at least among the top 10 passing offenses. Here's how they shook out....#3 WR (in terms of receptions) on top 10 2022 passing teams. You make him sound like a real good #3 WR like Tyler Boyd
Glad to hear it.No shit? I knew there was a reason I bought all that SB 56 merchandise

#1 KC // Hardeman 25 rec, 287 yds, 4 TDs
#2 Tampa // Gage 51 rec, 426 yds, 5 TDs
#3 LAC // Mike Williams 63 rec, 895 yds, 4 TDs
#4 Miami // Sherfield 30 rec, 317 yds, 2 TDs
#5 Minn // KJ Osborne 60 rec, 650 yds, 5 TD
#6 Detroit // JOSH REYNOLDS 38 rec, 479 yds, 3 TDs
#7 Cincy // Boyd 58 rec, 762 yds, 5 TDs
#8 Buffalo // McKenzie 42 rec, 423 yds, 4 TDs
#9 Philly // Watkins 33 rec, 354 yds, 3 TDs
#10 Jax // Marvin Jones 46 rec, 529 yds, 3 TDs
Jefferson's 2021 season: 50 rec, 800 yds, 6 TDs
So he scored more than all of them. Had more yards than all but one. And would have ranked 5th in receptions .But how excited can you get for a guy with 1 more reception than VJ and 374 less yards? Or 60 receptions and 150 less yards?
Glad to hear it.

BTW, with Josh Reynolds being in a top 10 passing offense performing as the #3 WR might suggest McVay knows receivers.
Glad to hear it.
Palmer 72 rec, 769 yds, 3 TD (missed 1 game)mike williams isn't the #3 wr for the chargers. palmer is. look up his crappy numbers.
.
If you would take Jefferson over Boyd there's no sense in discussing the subject any further. What were Jefferson's numbers after he came back last year?Well I figure you were just speaking off the top of your head, so I understand why you picked the 3rd best #3 WR last year.....at least among the top 10 passing offenses. Palmer 72 rec, 769 yds, 3 TD (missed 1 game)
Allen 66 rec, 752 yds, 4 TD (missed 7 games)
Williams 63, 895 yds, 4 TD (missed 4 games)
I know on the depth chart it's Allen-Williams and then anybody else but in terms of 2022 production, he was #3 on LAC. And knowing that (Allen-Williams 1-2, 2-1) 72 receptions, 769 yards is "crappy numbers"? We can get into all sorts of semantics about the subject but I was simply going by the receivers with the 3rd most receptions on the top 10 passing offenses. Regardless......my point was VJ is GOOD. And his 50 for 800 with 6 TDs.....as the #3 for the Rams was pretty damn impressive. ESPECIALLY with Cooper Kupp eating up 145 for himself!!! VJ actually had the 2nd highest WR numbers for the Rams in 2021 but I combined Woods (9 GP, 45-556-4) and OBJ (8 GP 27-305-5) since they signed one, the other went down and both are more talented than VJ. Woods & OBJ (17 GP, 72-861-11)
And our #3 who people around here are saying is a busted pick and not worth keeping etc etc (not saying you or everybody but you know that's what people here on this forum are saying about VJ), put up numbers that made him the #3 on the Chargers in 2021. The point that some of us are trying to make is VJ is a very good #3 WR, it's just not good enough for some.yeah but van was actually the #3 wr every game. allen missed 7 games so both williams and palmer were the top 2 wrs for those games. when both allen and williams are on the field palmer does not have huge stats.
edit - and going by those injury stats palmer was a top 2 wr for 11 games.
