I like the depth we are building at Edge. Cheaper & younger dudes without messing up our cap. Goff is due next season too!!!

Let Fowler show how motivated he is and extned him during the regular season for $13m/year. It will be much cheaper than signing Clowney for $18+m/year.
I'd like to have 2 effective EDGE rushers - maybe Patrick turns to gold! Still worried about ILB next to Littleton.Or maybe Obo makes them both irrelevant ...

I'm skeptical on Fowler always have been. He's done some good things and looks like he might have finally put it all together, but even if he does he'll be a FA next offseason and command big bucks too. And I don't trust Fowler when he's collecting a big paycheck.Let Fowler show how motivated he is and extned him during the regular season for $13m/year. True and I love that Obo is finally getting on the field and looks like the guy we drafted. But chances are he's not going to ever be on Clowney's level. The thought of Clowney next to Donald gives me MFing goose bumps. The 2020 draft may provide. Obo and a draft pick will be a lot less expensive than Fowler or Clowney if it comes down to it. jmo.
Patriots and Bears exposed our Center position last year, so the Rams made a change to a young player they saw all season long in practice and in some limited snaps in games. They fixed the problem at Center.I think the biggest issue is not at OLB it is the uncertainty in the middle of the OL. We all saw what the Pats did to us in the SB it was not the defense. Not to mention that the Defense imo is better, but the OL isn't.
Even our RG?
Who would replace him? Especially at the start of the season?
Chandler Brewer has outplayed Kolone, Evans, Demby, Kaskey & Neary @ both OG post in preseason. CB has outplayed Bobby Evans, Jamil Demby & Matt Kaskey @ both OT posts. Who do you think is in the drivers seat to play & START @ the RG post if there is a need? There has got to be someone like a veteran who is cut to make room for a youth movement. Otherwise that will continue to be the glaring weakness on the Rams Oline despite two new starters, imho.
Edwards would slide in there and after a few games would be an upgrade for us IMO.Chandler Brewer has outplayed Kolone, Evans, Demby, Kaskey & Neary @ both OG post in preseason. Edwards has not lined up @ RG since the Raiders game. He has only played LG. Who would replace Edwards as the valuable game day swing OT?Edwards would slide in there and after a few games would be an upgrade for us IMO.
For RT: Evans or Blythe slide in to RG, Edwards slides to RT.Edwards has not lined up @ RG since the Raiders game. He has only played LG. Who would replace Edwards as the valuable game day swing OT?
I think he is very very good, but below elite. He will get a top tier contract next year, maybe even a new record breaking one, which i see as to high for him. I'd love to have him but no way would I want the Rams to pay him more than AD which he will probably get. Doesn't deserve that money IMO.If anything, Clowney is underrated due to the injuries early in his career and people's expectations for a #1 pick. He's one of the best all-around edge defenders in football. I think he'd be an absolute monster in this scheme alongside Aaron Donald. However, I just don't see how we could keep him past this year. That's not worth giving up a key offensive piece for a rental.
We got ourselves Charlie Bronson, Mista Majesticfreakin love that movie, Oldman role was soooo good!!!! hey I might need to watch it tonight!!!!
I know you been clocking me.........
