If Kraft's charge's bring into the light of day the problem with sex trafficking so be it. They have him on film, twice. Here on the Treasure coast were I live they shut down several of these. Most of the women who work them are brought in from other countries with promises of good jobs. They are then forced into prostitution. While we can joke about Kraft, the situation that he got caught in is not funny. My wife turned in a guy at the Miami airport. He was verbally abusing a young women(in Russian, My wife knows just enough to know something wasn't right) who looked scared. She mentioned it to an ICE guy. She later found out the women was here in the US against he will and would have ended up in the sex trade. It's a very big problem in the US that goes under reported by MSM.

That being said........... With all his money, one would think Kraft would have been able to afford to "order in".

I may have missed it if someone has had this line of thinking, but does anyone think that maybe Kraft (and the other higher profile people) knew about that place because they were investers?

I just have a hard time believing this dude prefers to jeopardize everything with some hole in the wall place versus the company of women he could have on a payroll.
That would connect him to organized crime.

Just sad. @Raptorman story puts it all into focus. Any of these sleazy places involve victims, whether technical slaves or not. None of these women should trade their dignity for money.

And it is true, sex trafficking and child trafficking have been an evil that many elite have perpetuated for decades, if not centuries. The rings are finally being busted all over the world. The MSM doesn’t talk much about it. Hmmm. One of the most under-reported stories of the past couple years.

So many evil Sleazeballs. So many victims.
Pray for the children especially.

I know who he is, and all about the smear campaign but must have had a dense moment not to put that all together. I followed the entire thing closely.

Wow I missed badly LOL.

Florida has harsh penalties for things most of us wouldn't think merit them, but this is the DEEP south and religious values play a role in lawmaking when it comes to things considered "sinful". So I looked on the web to see what the penalty actually is.

It looks like he picked the wrong state LOL.

He has two separate offenses which now will make him a convicted felon. There is a real chance he may get a small sentence, I find it difficult to think a judge is going to jail a 77 year old man for this type of a crime for more than 60 days. It's possible that he gets a judge that wants to make an example but it's unlikely I would think. He's definitely going to pay the full fine since it's a drop in the bucket for him.

If he knew they were trafficked sex slaves he's freaked because they will be backed into a corner so to speak and will have to give him a lengthy sentence. Of course that would be impossible to prove.

Here ya go............

Every person convicted of Solicitation of Prostitution must complete 100 hours of community service, attend a prostitution and human trafficking awareness course, undergo screening for sexually transmissible diseases, [1] and pay a $5,000 civil fine.

In addition to these mandatory penalties that must be imposed in every case that results in a conviction for Solicitation of Prostitution, a judge can also impose the following penalties based upon whether a person is a first time offender or a repeat offender.

First Offense Solicitation of Prostitution
The crime of First Offense Solicitation of Prostitution is a First Degree Misdemeanor in Florida.

If convicted of First Offense Solicitation of Prostitution, a judge can impose any combination of the following penalties:

  • Up to one (1) year in jail.
  • Up to one (1) year of probation.
  • Up to $1,000 in criminal fines.
Second Offense Solicitation of Prostitution
The crime of Second Offense Solicitation of Prostitution is a Third Degree Felony and is assigned a Level 1 offense severity ranking under Florida’s Criminal Punishment Code.

If convicted of Second Offense Solicitation of Prostitution, a judge is required to impose a minimum jail sentence of 10 days in jail and can also impose any combination of the following penalties:

  • Up to five (5) years in prison.
  • Up to five (5) years of probation.
  • Up to $5,000 in criminal fines.
  • Up to sixty (60) day impoundment or immobilization of vehicle.
Third Offense Solicitation of Prostitution
The crime of Third Offense Solicitation of Prostitution is a Second Degree Felony and is assigned a Level 1 offense severity ranking under Florida’s Criminal Punishment Code.

If convicted of Third Offense Solicitation of Prostitution, a judge is required to impose a minimum jail sentence of 10 days in jail and can also impose any combination of the following penalties:

  • Up to fifteen (15) years in prison.
  • Up to fifteen (15) years of probation.
  • Up to $10,000 in criminal fines.
  • Up to sixty (60) day impoundment or immobilization of vehicle.
15 years in prison? That’s a bit ridiculous! Freaking pedos get less than that a lot, even murders. Smh.

Should be more than one charge though right? I saw the press conference yesterday and the detective said Kraft was a "regular".

The religious element here is VERY strong like I mentioned.

Here’s what NFL.com says;

What is Kraft's legal jeopardy?
The charge is punishable with up to 60 days in jail, six months of probation and $500 in fines, according to Florida law.

From an attoneys website:

https://www.richardhornsby.com/crimes/prostitution/solicitation-of-prostitution.html

This is where I got my info and he quotes FL law,so there must be different types of solicitation and/or prostitution and age probably plays in too.

Yup, 2 charges.

I think I see what's being asked. I think the officers said it was Kraft's demeanor that led them to say he was a regular. Like when you go to Panda Express, you can tell from other people's orders who has been there before. I think from the video, they heard Kraft tell them how he wanted his egg roll handled (or something), so he seemed like a regular. Two times is the amount of times he was caught on tape -- don't think you can charge him for other times where there's no proof.

Is there not a limit to what you or I or anyone else can claim is either political or what you should or shouldn’t “have to put up with?”

Honest question: Are you trying to make a real point about where our political barriers are...
Or are you just using this as an opportunity to squeeze a purely political and topically irrelevant anti-Bernie meme in to this thread as a subtle F-U to the likely good number of members and readers who silently (per this sites rules) support Sanders?

I disagree that the media isn't reporting on this, it's in the news a lot. Especially in the last few years, and especially in "third world" war torn areas where women and children are spoils of war.

You're right it's been going on forever and where at some points in history it was pretty "normal". Now it's hidden in plain sight and it's a crime that should be punishable by death. No prison, just death.

These women were taken from China, and who knows how many more women from China came through this "funnel" or starting point in New York (I can't remember the name of the town) and are scattered all over the US. And Canada probably has it's own "funnel". Certainly they had forged papers to travel with which indicates a sophisticated group of sick fuckers doing this.

I don’t really follow politics, and in retrospect, I regret posting that and leaving to question my motives.

It coulda been anyone in that meme to be honest. I guess Bernie Sanders is kinda important these days but this gesture was purely for the threads lighthearted nature.

But to be clear, because of the diverse surroundings of my upbringing, my military experience, and my current employment, I’ve made it a point to never display my political beliefs and would never throw a finger up at anyone else’s. I take candidates on thier individual merits and am not party affiliated.

Not if authorities can't trace it to him. I doubt Kraft or his people would leave a paper trail as much as I doubt this was just his hide away rub n tug spot he found out from an associate.

At the very least Kraft is very careless. What billionaire goes to the local 'Jack-Off-In-A-Box' to get serviced. He is entitled to a healthy, lively sex life but he needs to keep his Viagra in his pants and be much more careful and discreet. I believe this is the tip of the ice-berg in what we will be hearing about Robert Kraft and his careless Viagra addiction.

Unless the DA bringing charges is a moron - you don’t charge a billionaire with a crime unless you have really really good evidence.
