First meeting Rams and Saints, the yardage was almost equal. Each team had one turnover.

Saints 2 penalties for 20 yards. Rams 4 penalties for 32 yards. Not a huge difference but then again not giving Hekker the 1st down off replay and missing the facemask against Kupp made a world of difference in that game as it turns out.

I will say, IF the fix were in.....I would expect the NFL to want Rams-Chiefs 2.0. The immediate reaction to the first matchup this year was absurd. To think that more people wouldn't tune into that as opposed to an NFL Legacy QB matchup is a bit shortsighted.

While I think the NFL is aware of this stat, I don't think it maters to them who plays in the SB. There is no financial difference to them. The price per 30 sec commercial is still the same. The selection process I am sure is random. If they were to exclude him on the basis of our win loss record with him as ref, it would also be thought of as tampering with the out come. My question is, is this the exact same crew as before or some random group of refs that graded well individually? Could make a difference, but as far as holding is concerned, don't look for AD to sniff a sack and look for our best runs at crucial times to be called back for holding. That is, if he is biased.

Out of his crew of 6 for this game there are 2 from his regular crew and 4 different ones.

If the Rams beat the Saints and then win the Super Bowl I'll stop until next season. The way I figure it, with Vinovich's record when reffing a Ram's game, the odds are that we are long overdue.

The NFL should never allow a Ref to officiate the same two teams in one year IMHO....This is an outrage, now you have to overcome the bias, piped in crowd noise and Asshole Face complaining on every play.

I understand your anger, but the noise isn’t piped in. We get drunk a day or two in advance, and come ready to get loud. There is nothing artificial about the noise.
