Evening all!.... well across the pond it is!

As you may have already gathered I'm indeed a fan from the UK! I live in the county of Bedfordshire in England, 26 years old, engaged with 2 daughters (life comes at you fast)

I was lucky enough to attend my first live Rams game this Sunday in London. I have only been a fan for the past 3 years but a NFL fan for the past 15. I have decided to stick with the Rams after enjoying watching them for the past 3 years and seeing them live tipped me over the edge.

I lurked on the forum for the past 3 nights whilst at work and decided to take the plunge.

I look forward to getting to know you all and talking football.
Welcome to ROD!

So I've been a fan for 40+ years, even if only tangentially in the mid-90s and '00s. When I get push-back on my fandom (not often but it has happened on other forums in the past) and I have to "prove" my bonafides I respond with one name:

TJ Rubley.

Whats the most excruciating experience/player/coach that you've endured as a fan that proves your attachment to the Rams?

(Just a mental exercise and something I figured would be fun to hear from folks about)

That deserves a thread of it's own. You should do the honors. (y)

Got me beat by about 6 years on the duration meter! Season ticket holder at Anaheim also, 1st base endzone, lower level. When either team was at the far end endzone, that was my que to go get some beer. Couldnt tell sh!t what was going on down there!

Welcome to the board!

LOL, the one thing I will say about Rubley, that kid was tough as nails, I saw him take a shot and you could hear him cry out all the way in the announcer booth as he got blindsided. His kidneys should have been in the stands. He got up running to the huddle doubled over and still got the next play off. Always had a soft spot for him after that.

Hi everybody,

Life long Rams fan here from Syracuse NY. The discussion on some of the other Rams sites I go to seems to have dried up quite a bit so I thought I'd try it out over here.

I tend to be fairly optimistic when it comes to the Rams, even when all evidence would indicate otherwise. I also tend to be a bit more of a "quality vs quantity" kind of guy in regards to posting, but I will definitely chime in if I feel I have something interesting to contribute to the discussion.

Glad to be here, looking forward to the discussion, go Rams!

Hey everyone,

First post here. I’ve been a Rams fan since 2016. I grew up in Southern California during a time in which we didn’t have NFL Football (the Rams left SoCal 3 months before my 2nd birthday) and cheered for the Colts but always said that as soon as LA got a team that I would cheer for them.

Once the Rams came back I hopped in line and got the cheapest season tickets that I could for my dad and I. My dad took me to a ton of sporting events growing up so I wanted to buy season tickets and take him to games as a thank you.

We were season ticket holders at the coliseum until this year when my work brought me up here to Seattle. Luckily I was able to attend one more game at the Coli last year during our glorious 27-9 win over the Saints.

I am a season ticket holder at SoFi stadium and plan to fly down at least twice a year for games, then give the rest to my family whenever they want to go. I’ll also be at Centurylink Field every time the Rams are in town.

Looking forward to the new logo and colors today!

Hi ROD,

I came here for selfish reasons. Although I believe after I explain them it will be ok with all of you.

Here's my background with Ram related website.

I am one of those fans who is loyal and doesn't stray to far from home. I started out on the Rams message board years ago! When they chose to shut it down Will, Sparky and his wife invited me to RRF. I loved it there. I got to know a few members and loved the website. Over time the site moderators checked out and it was literally taken over by one poster. I lost interest and left for about 5 years. When I checked back in it was still the same. I posted my concerns a few times. With no moderators the site (IMO) lost its way. Elvis from RFU, Mr on RRF, invited me to RFU 4 years ago. I tried it out. I have enjoyed it a great deal. As with all forums you can't get along with everyone. I've blocked a few members and have surely been blocked myself.

This is what brings me here today. I enjoyed reading SWAdude and Dieterbrock's posts for years. One posted was banned and the other left due to the banning. I'm not butt hurt about it, but wanted to either say Goodbye or Hello Again (Cue Lionel) to these guys. I have no desire to bring anything posted there, HERE. I would like to keep reading their posts, interact when applicable.

I have been aware ROD for years, just tend to stick with smaller circles. I recognize many names on the member list. So I believe this will be a good experience.

My Rams history has covered the past 41 years. Became a fan in 79'. I was six and wanted to root against the Steelers with every fiber of my soul. So pretty much a childish endeavor. As time went by my mom got me Rams shirts, hats and football. Then Eric was drafted and my childish endeavor turned to love for the team. The 80's were great besides that crap team in San Fran ruining the decade. I stayed strong through the 90's and the move. It has been the team not the location for me. The Greatest Show re-energized my passion as I remembered what it was like as a child to watch a winner. The mid 2000's-2016 were as difficult as it could get. The MOVE happened and all the drama and stress that came with it. The recent SB, Gurly draft/release, Goff, Donald and the rest have kept me enthralled all this time. BLAH BLAH BLAH.

For anyone who is active at RFU they can attest this is my second longest post EVER.

Thanks for reading and getting some Zzzz's in.

Not sure how much I will post, but I will read and acknowledge a lot.
