I'm not speaking from blind emotion here.
If it were possible, I would trade Ramsey (while some teams still think he's a great player) for a good decent CB and two 2nd round picks. I'd do it instantly too. That money can be spent better elsewhere. He's not making plays .... of any kind!

With as much money as we have in him, and as much worship as he gets, I should be asking for the last 5 game changing plays ..... however ..... Someone please remind me of the last game changing play he's made for us?

I have no clue what's happened with him. I don't know if he's getting messed up with Morris doing some dumb shit with him? But he was an All Pro before Morris got here. He's certainly a dud now.

I'm torn. He did some great things in the "star" role last year. There are times, though, when I wish he'd just lock down the other teams' best. He's had some notable bad looking plays recently, no doubt.

He has the talent to be good all over the field but I think it is really asking too much bouncing him around everywhere. He is basically setup where hes bound to make mistakes because he is asked to do so many different things. How can anyone be perfect being in all those different spots every game?

It’s the star position. He made wow plays from it all year, but I still thing he’s better just manning up and sticking with the #1. Every corner gets beat, and Diggs is top 5 route runner. It happens. I wouldn’t jump to any conclusions when the entire team minus maybe 3 guys played like shit

The whole point was that he had said he gets bored just playing in the outside and loses focus. But it sure seems like he's losing focus in general

Having anyone try to play all of the positions in the secondary at the same time is a recipe for disaster, period!

THIS.

If our offense wasn't in over its head, Ramsey wouldn't have been in so many tough spots.

The star option should be used occasionally, maybe just in certain games as a bit of a match up advantage.
It can and should be a valuable part of his game and this defense, but like a screen play, it should be used appropriately..

That Bills o is almost a cheat code and my only solace is that they regularly score 40+ and they didn't tonight. Well.... that and that Josh Allen won't be around in the postseason if he keeps up that shit.

It's same story with Ramsey and Morris. Honestly Ramsey is being wasted by the way they are using him. While our defense is good as a whole I think it's still being misused or ran inefficiently, whatever. I really hope mcVay gets away from it. It didn't work well last year it's not gonna work well this year.

He gets beat deep far too often for a top tier CB, for sure, which has been my criticism of him for some time now. But he is top tier, despite what some people might say in this thread. He might be the best CB in the NFL. It's debatable.

The star position looks great when it works. When it doesn't, everyone will second guess Morris. On balance, I just prefer having Ramsey shadow the opposing team's #1 WR, wherever they might line up on a given play.

The corners are gonna need to cover this year.
