"It's just a little slap. He was wearing a helmet. What's the big deal?"

Ramsey just did what every Rams fan has been wanting to do for a while. Just kidding. Kinda. I'll keep my morals to myself.

hahaha

Some people in here aren't speculating they're convicting him and a lot of them are by people who have here and elsewhere told us how little they think of Ramsey. It's clear a level head isn't wanted in this thread though I'll back out and let the dog pile on Jalen continue.
Why shouldn't Ramsey be a target for blame?
He threw a punch at a teammate.

It's something that a player just shouldn't do.

Regardless if Rapp missed an assignment it’s not Ramsey’s place to get in his face in the huddle. That’s the coaches job. Also, this was just a few plays into the game. Which says to me Ramsey has preexisting issues with Rapp.

I just don't get defending the slap.
I'll leave it there and move on.

Im assuming some of you played football at least in high school...

i didnt like what ramsey did.. there are cameras everywhere

but shiiiit lol... we had two dudes in practice that got in a fist fight almost every practice.

It's not something we want to happen.... but imo its not that big of a deal.

Heat of battle, I’d wager JR is on his last nerve considering where he believes TR should be after the snap

Just a thought but wait until we hear details if we ever do? At first glance it looks like a bad move by Ramsey but we know absolutely no details so maybe refrain from character assassination of Ramsey.

This.

Plus, I've also wanted to punch Rapp at times this year so I can relate

Yeah, not absolving Ramsey at all, but my goodness do we have some sensitive fans...

Yeah everyone had that person on the team they just straight fuckin disliked. For Ramsey that person is Rapp.

Rapp is a weak link. That's got to frustrate Ramsey, as it does us fans. It's not the right way to go about it and I'm sure Ramsey would take it back if he could. But let's not blow it out of proportion or pretend that these guys aren't emotional in the heat of battle.

Situations like this call for a calm, cool, level-headed-response.

Maybe the Rams can bring-in someone ... a veteran perhaps ... to counsel and mediate.

I believe Antonio Brown may have some availability.

Hasn't Donald snatched up a teammate in practice before? It probably wasn't the proper time or action for it, but Rapp probably needed a checking for a long time now.

So, please... enlighten me... when is it acceptable to slap a teammate in the face in the middle of the field in the middle of a game?
When that player has been coached ad nauseum and then the coach says, " Jalen" your going to have to help him in game too. Because he's still brain farting. So that player ( Rapp) continues to not get it in game coaching from Jalen or others and talks back when he f's up again and has shitty attitude and is costing the team... that's when.

it was to his head

you want to fire up a teammate, you pound his shoulder pads not swing at his helmet
No, I would suggest a brisk love tap to the face mask (or under) definitely fires one up more, aw hell, I’m getting too old, I remember in HS I screwed up, our Defensive Captian came over grabbed my 70s era face mask and butted heads with me, lol, that definitely got my attention
