So, please... enlighten me... when is it acceptable to slap a teammate in the face in the middle of the field in the middle of a game?
Not sure it is. But before I judge a guys action I want some information. You're jumping to conclusions that this is 100% on Ramsey and that's fine jump away. I'm sorry it offends you that I want information before I condemn somebody for their actions. At face value I don't like what Ramsey did, but I want to know what happened.

You're right. We should release Ramsey immediately.
The drama.

I love Ramsey... have been thrilled with everything he's done as a Ram for the most part.

I didn't know that meant when he clearly did something that is way out of line that we're not supposed to point it out.

I'll note.. that I'm not saying Ramsey is a bad person, teammate or anything like that. What he DID was absolutely unacceptable.

Ramsey jumped Rapp's ass last year for blown coverage...I doubt he did this FOR NO REASON...however, should've been saved for the lockeroom regardless...

IMO Ramsey still has maturity issues. I suspect Rapp has assignment issues. Bad combo.

Luckily the Rams always handle their business in house and don't support a culture that allows the players to play out their drama in the media. I feel like this culture is one of the reasons that the media doesn't latch onto the Rams as much as other organizations.

I do not endorse that shit either, but it's football at the highest level. Emotions run high. As @OldSchool stated,i would like to know more before jumping on Ramsey. He certainly has not been a problem on the field or in the locker room since he joined the Rams. Honestly, it was weird, but it didn't seem THAT violent to me. Rapp has bigger problems than this...

Sorry, but embarrassing your teammates and hitting them is not okay under any circumstance.... unless you put your finger in his face and push his head with it on the bench, lol.

I'm not making a big judgement on Ramsey. I'm saying that shit was wrong, 100%.

It's an unfortunate incident, but it happened and deserves discussion.
Read my comments and see if I said otherwise? I want information before I condemn either player but at face value it looks bad for Ramsey. Man I didn't realize not jumping to conclusions was such a bad take to have. So controversial to wait to pass judgement it seems.

There could be a good reason for Ramsey to get pissed at Rapp. But there is no good reason to throw a punch at your own teammate. Not on the field or even sidelines. Do it where it isn't seen in public if you really think it needs to be done.

Whatever the reason, Ramsey was wrong for what he did. I love what Ramsey does for us but that kind of stuff can cause inner problems and offset all the good he does.

Until we actually find out any facts ( which is unlikely), speculation is all we have.

We're fortunate enough to have an organization where this isn't the norm.
So, when something like this does happen, it's a bit of a shock.

Sorry but there isn't a good reason to do it anywhere really. Again jump to whatever conclusions you want for the rest of your comment, I'll wait.

hahaha

Some people in here aren't speculating they're convicting him and a lot of them are by people who have here and elsewhere told us how little they think of Ramsey. It's clear a level head isn't wanted in this thread though I'll back out and let the dog pile on Jalen continue.

Wrong on Ramsey to do so. But it's probably been boiling for quite some time. And perhaps Ramsey is losing his patience with Rapp missing assignments and giving up plays. Perhaps he's constantly out of position and isn't improving as we know.

I like Rapp as a person, but he's been a liability since he got here in coverage. And hasn't improved.

BUT, deal with it on the sidelines.

Am I mad at Ramsey for it? No. It's a competitive game.

I believe during the second half they asked McVay and he said it was nothing, going to believe McVay on this one.

.

Maybe Ramsey should be slapping Morris on the head.

"Why do you keep playing this guy in coverage? He can't do it."
