I'm going to wait to see what the financial part of the deal is before I condemn it as Miami may be taking on all or most of the salary hit.

If the Rams didn't see that coming, they should have tried to trade his ass long ago if that truly impacted the trade which I can't see happening. Still think we could have gotten more. Lions got a 3rd and 5th for Slay who also wanted a new contract for comparisons sake. Ramsey is a much better player than Slay in my eyes.
Jourdan said they were not trading him to the NFC and he would make more contract demands from a team he was not wanting to go to.

Well regardless he's gone and we got less than we should have. That part sucks since he was our biggest trade chip.

See, this is what I don't understand, the first part - why did we just take the NFC completely off the list? By doing that, the Rams gave away a significant portion of their bargaining power, and for someone they believe is in decline? Doesn't make sense.

For the record, I agree that 2023 Jalen is not 2020 Jalen, and I could even understand wanting to trade him, the caveat being that we got adequate compensation. We didn't even come close.

And yes, we can bitch about it. We're fans, and I for one have given Snead plenty of praise when he did good, so I reserve the right to shit on him when I think he fucks up. And with such a pitiful return, this is one such instance where he fucked up.

All Cleared through School, conference and the UC system. UCLA announced a couple weeks ago.
Much easier for USC due to being a private school and not part of the UC system.
Damn, well this is going to be pretty interesting and fun now!

3 targets and 1 reception in two years. Apparently a stealth TE.
One should realize that the Dolphins use 1 TE 90% of the time with Gesicki their starting TE. Seems to me the Rams scouting Dept must have had high grades on him if they pursued him.
Although, I understand your frustration with the trade....

It sucks ass and return is not close to what anyone of us wanted. When first read the news was like wtf we got fleeced. We did short term but long term will help. As much as I hate it mcvay and snead brought us back to relevance and a sb, so will drink to Ramsey and how great he was for us and wish him the best, will believe in this staff till they prove me otherwise.

Seems like a typical young pass-catching TE that needs to get more physical. Highlights show decent speed and length.

Maybe it is just me but this was a perfect visual that had me laughing

The Dolphins really need to do what the Rams did last yr. They need to trade for a very good vet QB that is stuck in a bad situation. Not sure any are available. I guess Jackson, but injury concerns are there.
A Rodgers would be perfect for that
