No, just like the clippers will never have the allure of the Lakers
yet another coach-on-the-field player, a la Talib & Whit.

Gonna have to disagree on this was Senor MackHard to see us not looking at Houston. He would be an upgrade over Fowler
Going to the opposing team's locker room after a game to declare you want to sign with them isn't team captain material.
Wasn't aware of that incident. A bit worrisome.

1) Fowler’s younger and I felt was getting better and better
2) I’ve learned to become very apprehensive over signing former stars whom after receiving the big bucks their production dropped, case in point ya see I’m an Angel fan reference Puhols ( who I always suspected was on PEDs but somehow never was caught)
Okay so I strayed a little off course, but there it is
On topic, like the Weddle signing, smart player who still has something in the tank I believe
I heard from a friend of mine that loves baseball (Yankees fan uke that Pujols had way better than 20/20 vision. The theory based on this went that he could make out the grip the pitcher had on the ball before the pitch (at least some times) and therefore was better prepared for it (when he did manage to catch enough of a glimpse). That would track pretty well with a decline in age at 30 something.Cardinals fan. Albert Pujols was never on PEDs. The guy has been tested multiple times and hasn't had even a small red flag, so I'm inclined to believe him.
His production dropped because he got old, not because of any cheating.

I have slightly better than 20/20 vision now, and I can tell a huge difference at 20 compared to 10 or 15 years ago.
It seems plausible, but not certain, to me.
Ever read the book "The Umpire Strikes Back" by Ron Luciano? In it Luciano, a long time MLB umpire, claimed that Ted Williams could actually see the ball hitting the bat. Said Williams took him out to a field - long after he had retired - put some tar on his bat, and proceeded to call out how the ball hit his bat after every pitch. They would then confirm he was right by looking at the tar on the ball.
I have no idea how true any of that is. But I do know that professional athletes are phenomenal physical specimens, with physical talents that go way beyond what most normal people can do. So yeah, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Pujols could pick a pitcher's grip as he was throwing, and thus know what pitch was coming.
So that's where my Chrissy uniform went after I donated it....Absolutely. I was thinking the same thing. Weddle would have been about 7 in 1991.
His mom probably found that uniform on the clearance rack after the "ghost sack".
