Had to go investigate. It looks like Leveston is a part of the 7 so far so we have 1 spot after Leveston according to the below article. Higbee does not count towards the 8 since he was on PuP to begin training camp. So looks like last spot will come down to Reeder or JJ3 until playoffs at least. Murchison was a huge kick in the nuts being that he came back and immediately got injured again.

Those return rules do not apply to Higbee, who has been on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list since Aug. 27.

That's fine you don't think that he is. McVay does and yes every team should have an emergency 3rd QB. It doesn't even require him to be on the gamday active roster. It's foolish to not have one.

I don't think he makes the team either, but it wouldn't hurt to see what he has two years after the injury.

If he doesn't impress, it's not a huge loss. A wasted third round pick in a year where it was our top pick, but with the players we have, not a huge loss. If he impresses enough, we either have a backup or a trade chip. Either one works.

I could only drink the Kool-aide for so long. Reeder has been a bigger asset to The Rams than Noteboom.
