Had to go investigate. It looks like Leveston is a part of the 7 so far so we have 1 spot after Leveston according to the below article. Higbee does not count towards the 8 since he was on PuP to begin training camp. So looks like last spot will come down to Reeder or JJ3 until playoffs at least. Murchison was a huge kick in the nuts being that he came back and immediately got injured again. :(

One major variable factoring into the return of Reeder and Johnson: Los Angeles has one IR return designation left to use this season. Teams are allowed to designate up to eight players to return from IR during the regular season. The Rams so far have done so for seven players: Offensive lineman Steve Avila, offensive lineman Jonah Jackson, wide receiver Puka Nacua, offensive lineman Joe Noteboom, cornerback Darious Williams, defensive end Larrell Murchison and offensive lineman K.T. Leveston. Murchison and Leveston began the season designated for return, which still counts toward that allotment of eight.

Those return rules do not apply to Higbee, who has been on the Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform list since Aug. 27.

Why do we need 3 QB's? No way Stetson goes in over Jimmy if Stafford were to get hurt... I honestly don't even think Stetson is worthy of a PS position...
That's fine you don't think that he is. McVay does and yes every team should have an emergency 3rd QB. It doesn't even require him to be on the gamday active roster. It's foolish to not have one.

I don't think he makes the team either, but it wouldn't hurt to see what he has two years after the injury.

If he doesn't impress, it's not a huge loss. A wasted third round pick in a year where it was our top pick, but with the players we have, not a huge loss. If he impresses enough, we either have a backup or a trade chip. Either one works.
Well here’s your guy . (Bruss) Justin Dedich brings so much more to The Rams as a C/G .He still has upside. His best problem is that his a tweener (small) in size.

If true Reeder might as well prepare his vacation plans.
What’s my boy Noteboom’s future.
I could only drink the Kool-aide for so long. Reeder has been a bigger asset to The Rams than Noteboom.

His contract is probably the Biggest reason he is still a Ram.No other team wants him. That’s a lot of egg on the Front Offices Face ..

-Sort of upsetting Alaric Jackson didn’t get paid. He’ll get a nice Payday though imo ? Is he a Ram or an another UDRFA Comp Pick Les Snead gives the team ?

Again, Bruss will fit better on another team, and it's not a huge loss.

Of course !! It was Sean Mcvay’s guy. They had some scout jump in a pool for him being drafted to The Rams.
—The problem with the pick is Mcvay gets caught up on a need or a player.
—I don’t know who Mcvay wanted in terms of BOWERS or BO ? My guess is QB was off the table ??
- Bennett wasn’t a Ram until ??? Maybe before the draft ?? Which might have been a tell ??

Could you IMAGINE The Rams without Fiske & Verse ?? REALLY!!!
Your going to get ALL BUTT HURT for missing on that SEA-HAG DT from TEXAS????

What a draft pick by mistake!! DROY
Jared Verse.Fiske will give him a little run for his money.Good thing about Jared is it’s a FIVE YEAR CONTRACT !!!

Anyway it’s nice to see Ryan Wendell doing his thing.Still not sure about the J.Jackson thing ???
What a draft with Limmer & Leveston. Still to be seen, but he looks like a find.He looked more sold than Noteboom has as well.

JJ3 can play linebacker better than Mark Barron.
Yeah - sure ??? Well the DB group has looked good, not sure if JJ is playing a role as a Mentor Type ? Eric Weddle sure was a GREAT PLAYER in LEADERSHIP!!

I was thinking about this group this morning:
- 2027: extend BY and KT by 1 year, give them a little sump'n for their excellent efforts
- 2028: RESIGN ALL 5 D-LINEMEN AT ONCE
If we can pull that off... how sick would it be to keep them all playing together for the next 7 - 8 years??
And by 5, I mean V8 - Fiske - Turner - Tyler - BY

Unfortunately they play at premium positions. Only way is if they all choose to split the budget for Dline evenly. LOL

No way they sign all 5 in one off season. You stagger them to manage the cap better. Also Verse has a 5th year option he could be a year after Fiske.

Keeping them all will be rough and we have to watch development. If we spend a high pick on an edge in a year or two it signals they're not sure they can pay Verse and Young and BY might be the odd man out.

You know who goes unnoticed & DANG wanted to complain about is Hoecht.
-SO he got beat against Laporta in the playoff game.He brings so much more to the Table as a OLB!!

An example of playing a DE/LB in coverage.Just look at Jared Verse Sunday against NE.Dude didn’t read the play right & he knew it.Got caught not getting back in coverage. Being able to have Hoecht play multiple spots really adds to his value of mixing coverages up.

Don’t know if you mean Tyler Davis ? Brennan might be a guy who steps up in a bigger role in a few years?

What about Bobby Brown ? Sort of funny when looking at the future & NFL experience?

LOL at how some fans can’t see the Bigger picture when it comes to upside & potential. It’s easy to criticize a player. The Rams might be able to keep this group together for another 3 years though.

Yes, Tyler Davis. He's been rounding out nicely.
Brennan Jackson... he could be a guy that allows us some flexibility when it comes time to negotiate w/ the Fearsome 5. He's a big kid & looked the part in pre-season, but not sure what he's done w/ his limited snaps. Omar is a guy who did a LOT with his opportunities & is now starting in place of Reeder.
