With a Monday night matchup on the slate for Week 11, the Los Angeles Rams got an extra day off Wednesday after beating the Seahawks on Sunday afternoon. They returned to the field on Thursday for their first practice session of the week as they prepare for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With the first practice also came the initial injury report. Kai Forbath, Andrew Whitworth and Taylor Rapp were already placed on IR after getting hurt against the Seahawks, so the biggest injuries are already accounted for.

On the injury report to open the week, only two players were listed. Aaron Donald got a rest day, while Brian Allen was limited with a knee injury. No other Rams are on the report, which is great news for L.A.

For the Bucs, Jason Pierre-Paul and Mike Edwards were limited. Everyone else was a full participant except Tanner Hudson, who was out for non-injury related reasons.

Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with the news--do we know who the player that tested positive is yet? Would it show up on the injury report?

It would not surprise me if center Brian Allen finally goes back on IR. BA has been listed on again off again on the injury list now going on 11 wks. Sure appears that 2019 knee injury suffered in the 10 wk against the Steelers must still be an issue.

If BA goes IR then we might see Cohl Cabral might show up on the Practice Squad again & maybe OC/OG Jeremiah Kolone would work his way (after 3 seasons on the PS) for the first time makes the active roster & takes Allen's spot as the 4th reserve OL'er. I do not see OG Jamil Demby replacing a center on the active roster.

Would you prefer to be correct, and the Rams’ top OL does not return in a season when the Team could do something special?
Or ...
Would you prefer to be wrong, and he returns to contribute to a winning situation?

It sounds like the former.

If that’s the case, you are officially my second favorite poster on this Forum.

Eyeryone else is tied for first.

I most definitely hope I am wrong about Whit's injury. I hope he can come back and play at full strength.
Thanks for asking. It's nice of you to show an interest in me.

Dude. Give your forum rep a chance and let it go!!

Sir. Having a dandy "forum rep" is overrated. So I should not say my opinion for fear some will dislike me for it? I should conform to what the majority wants me to say?

Advice: Just be yourself. Be kind while doing it, but be yourself. Don't worry if others on a screen full of typed letters don't agree with your OPINION.

Forum Rep. Haha. LOL.
:)

It’s like the guy at blackjack who losses all 500 of his money, goes to atm and puts it all down again. Just can’t stop and double down hoping for a win.

Whitworth is nothing like that. Stop it.

I’ll try one more time since you are a brother Ram fan. Different Opinions are good. Debate can be very healthy. It’s the repeating of your opinion verbatim over and over and over again that I am flagging. It seems a bit obsessive. Let the opinions, viewpoints and debates roll though.

Oh good lord enough with this debate in the injury thread. I keep seeing things pop up in here and think somebody got hurt in practice or something. Please if you want to debate his idiotic assumption that Whitworth won't play again this season/postseason and maybe never again by all means make a thread about it.

Sorry I'm not a mod but it really is annoying seeing activity in the Rams injury thread and it's this stupid debate about something he can't possibly know just hope for or feel.

I was worried about Williams for a bit as well. It looked like he was holding his hand after a pass break up, but he stayed in the game.

It looked like he jammed his fingers on that pass. Hurts like hell but usually goes away after a few minutes. I hope that I am right on this.

I saw that too and on the replay, his hand was planted flat on the ground and a buc player stepped on his hand!
