Yeah it kinda seems like they are not a big fan of this draft class. At least from an immediate impact perspective. Can’t argue that.
Man imagine we trade 13 - all those posters spending time on mock drafts and reading/posting about it (me) - wasted lol
Well, as other posters have mentioned on here, we can still trade down in this class but it'll be for less than the premium and of course, you still need someone to want that pick (good draft class or not). I put the odds at less than even we'll be getting out of it. Slighter higher that we'll end up being forced to pick there. I think we'll get a good player, just not a blue chip unless something weird happens and a guy like Love is there.

The conspiracy theorist in me says Rams really don't want to be picking at 13. Not that they would trade 13 straight up for Brown but that they would use it in a pick swap.

I think the Rams REALLY don't want to be picking at 13.
Unpopular opinion: we're getting all excited for a top WR from this class. I've looked at all of them and am skeptical that any of them will be immediate impact players.

Eagle GM Howie Roseman, playing Rams and Patsie against each other. Listening to Philly sports radio, there are a lot of different takes on trading AJ. It seems AJ is not happy with Hurts as QB is the main theme. I'm 50/50 on the trade as far as whether he would be happy sharing targets with the other Rams. It would make it very hard on defenses and give the Rams protection from injuries if the Rams make the trade.

This is a very interesting point, if we believe we're picking 32 next year, there's very little chance we'll be in the QB sweepstakes in the 27 draft no matter how much future capital we throw at teams. So... does next years one become a chip for either a player (Brown) or something else...
I don't know, I don't see that. It would be more an argument to 1) take Simpson if they think he can develop into a starter, 2) move as far back as necessary to trade back for 27 draft capital, or 3) move up.

If you give away future capital, you're giving up before you try. That doesn't sound like McSnead.

Besides, 32 + 2nd + future 1st gets you to the 10 range per the chart. Maybe the 2027 draft is like 2017 where franchise QBs were available up to pick 12.

I respected Hurts in his first couple of years in the NFL. But I soured on him when he was anointed superstar status mostly because of the fucking Tush push play. He also seemed to always indicate he wasn’t given his due respect which I see as being a whiny bitch. The Eagles know the Siriani-Hurts-Brown tryst is beyond repair and will eventually deal Brown.
As far as Hurts goes - I’ll always cherish him being the only NFL player since 1978 to throw an interception and lose a fumble on the same play. This historic event occurred during the 2nd quarter of their December 2025 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers. F them dirtbag Eagles and their low life fans!

I dunno why, but I still think after this season when we win the Super Bowl, Stafford retires and we send a record setting haul to the Bengals for Joe Burrow. They’re one of the poorest franchises in the league and that huge contract of his hasn’t gotten them anything other than a few jersey sales. They don’t have an OL and now all three division opponents have legit pass rushers.

Makes sense for both…and now that we can extend to 5 years out, I can see us sending a package including 4 firsts for him.

The juice would be worth the squeeze for sure.

Don’t get me wrong, we need someone with the mental chops of Stafford and it’d be amazing if we found a gem in the draft, but I don’t see that…

I think the Rams were being used to get the Patriots to up any offer they may have given the Eagles.

But, if I'm wrong it only makes sense to consider Brown if he can be had cheaply and the team moves on from Adams AND/OR Puka's contract negotiations aren't going very well. Just not enough balls to go around for 3 #1 WRs and Brown's effort/focus decreases when he doesn't get enough targets.

I guess I'm just not a fan of offseason, All-In strategies lacking balance. It also bothers me the if the team believes that they need a roster full of All-Stars to win a title.

Oh well. If they do make a move methinks the Rams should hold out for the Eagles sending Willie Lampkin back any trade package.

Ok. Just screwing around here, but what about:

This year's 2nd and next year's 1st for Brown, then draft Love with our #13! (or Sadiq).
Thinking What GIF

If I didn't know better, I'd think you think the Rams don't want to be picking at 13. Like REALLY don't want to. Not sure though.

Reading posts from Eagles is Just crazy town.

I can’t tell you how many posts said Puka plus Verse plus 1st round and 2nd rounder for AJ…….not just one or two posts, but over 10 posts stating that.

For AJ Brown????????
Um... Beagles fans. Nuff said.

When they win the Super Bowl they won’t have a haul to trade.
I don’t know why this keeps coming up but if Burrow goes on the trade block the Rams don’t have the ammo to compete
Sure, if he blows out his knee and misses the season again, then he might be had for a package they could afford, but at that point why would you want him

Just checked your bio, I didn't realize you were from Villanova. I am from western Montco...the Souderton area.

Yeah, WIP has been non stop AJ trade talk. Was interesting hearing their Rams takes today. They do seem to fear the Rams now.

I saw a post on FB like that. Said any package of Verse, Puka and #1.

I'm like you are high as a kite if you think the rams are trading any of our star players for him. They are all BETTER than AJ as is.
