Because they had a former #1 overall pick to include along with those #1 picks when under the current scenario the best pick they have is #32
trading multiple 1st round picks isn’t all that attractive after the following year.
If Burrow is available the Rams won’t have the assets to trade
It's true that they had Goff to trade, but if I recall correctly, didn't people say that Goff had negative trade value because of his salary ? I recall some saying we we had to add a 1st round pick to get them to take on Goff's salary.

Only Rams fans who were happy he was gone.
Detroit got a legit starter
He was a huge piece to that puzzle

This A.J. Brown thing isnt dead by no means. They pushed back the Goedardt void thing for the SECOND TIME (See video) til Monday to try and get a deal done. Eagles can't pay both Brown and Goedardt but they want one or the other. Doesn't say if the Rams are the favorites here I can definitely see Brown going to the Patriots more likely.

Hearing that it has to do with the trade happening after June 1st, which saves the Eagles a ton of cap if I'm hearing correctly. They wanted a bigger haul back by trading him now, when they didn't get that they elected to wait until after June 1 cap implications are passed. Not sure if we could agree to a trade but have it set as a June 1st trade the same way a cut can be done.
Yep. The Eagles traded a 1st & 3rd rounder for him 4 years ago. To expect that much for an older version makes no sense to me.
He was also a much cheaper cap hit then.

This just occurred to me.
If the Rams could get AJ Brown with their 2nd round selection who would they take at #13 if they couldn't trade down?

Wouldn't be popular, but that Penn State OG is supposed to be a special player.

Other than that probably the best edge/ DL available would probably be worth it. Faulk, Woods, or McDonald. McDonald is probably a reach, but a very good prospect. Or Theineman could be a chess piece in the secondary.

I would say this. IF AJ would be good with being the 3rd WR... and I believe he would be on this team... I mean you'd have to do it

AJ isn't as extreme on the "Diva" WR list as most would think.. his attitude in Philly has a lot to do with them being a run first team.. a personality clash with Hurts... and a continuous relationship with the coach.. he's not the problem player some think.

We have as solid an organizational culture as there is in pro sports right now (and I'm not exaggerating too much)

AJ Brown with us is ridiculous..in a good way

They had to extend him as soon as they traded for him. That's why the Titans let him go, they were too cheap to pay him.

They ended up with treylon Burks, but hey, they saved a lot of money.

.

Russini is considered the top NFL reporter these days

Brown has been rightly pissed that his QB sucks and he's working his ass off for nothing, maybe he's a hot head on top of that but his sins pale in comparison to many other WR's out there. Bring him in for the right price.
He sounds like a DK Metcalf / Terrell Owens kind of guy.
Short fused and a head case.
Pass.

I gotta be honest, I don't really want AJ Brown. I'd welcome it if it happened and I can certainly see the upside but his character concerns me.

As good as McVay is with guys who have had character issues, I think Brown will always have them.
AJ’s problem was initially based off the fact that the play call was to him and he would be wide open on in timing of the play and his QB would hold the ball, end up checking down or scramble. We are talking chunk plays. This happened over and over.
Yes, Stafford misses open guys also, but not to the level of Hurst. McKay and Stafford would keep him happy just by definition of their offense.

Same player they may take now minus the WR, but I don't think they're gonna force WR at 13. So, DL, QB, TE, OT, OG, Edge

Even Eagles fans would say “FUCK NO!” to that deal after Verse told them how much he despised their team.
From the little I've read from the Eagles fans, they don't care what Verse has said about their team in the past. They mostly think he would be a great fit for the Eagles, and would look forward to Verse dishing it out on other teams like he is known for doing.

I’ve got a great fit for the Eagles. How about an XL Butt Plug for their #1 option/soon to be extinct Butt Plug play.
