I’m torn on AJ. Great talent and huge body for staff. But AJ seems to really take a step back last year. Spots of his usual greatness among a lot of poor effort & performance. Maybe that was his attitude and the frustration with coach/QB. I’d worry though him hitting an early fall off cliff.

I’m also more of the belief that we need to add speed to the offense.

I get it

However, more important than speed we could have used more redzone efficiency last season, especially after Adams going down.

Can you imagine Puka, Brown, Adams, Williams, Parkinson and Stafford on the field at the same time..... Opponents defenses first thought will be.... "WE'RE FUCKED!!!!"

Ok. Just screwing around here, but what about:

This year's 2nd and next year's 1st for Brown, then draft Love with our #13! (or Sadiq).

Good Lord......

We will be the Dodgers of the NFL...... And everyone will most certainly hate us.

Just gotta keep Stafford's armed iced after games.

His base pay os only 1.2M this year and no granted money past this season. So he could be jettisoned without any is dyes if he doesn't work out. Of course your giving up draft capital in the process.

At worst I would want their 2nd back along with Brown if they give up 13. Maybe even have them throw in a 4th. Or the Jets 3rd #66 and a 4th.

Or how about 13 a 3rd next year for Brown and the Eagles 1st next year?

I think they are interested because they don't trust Adams can give them 17 games and play at a high level week in and week out.

According to Russini article Eagles were asking for a 1 and a 2 ahead of FA.

No thanks. And sure Rams said as much.

Reports are that we are waiting and monitoring so basically we won't do anything till Eagles bring price down.

I'm not a fan of the Rams giving up assets in order to acquire A.J. Brown. The dude is obviously a skilled and rugged receiver, but he's shown that he's more about himself than the team. I would rather draft a young receiver in the draft and use the cap space and assets to address other needs on the team. Even with an injury to Puka, I'd have a hard time rooting for a prima donna who's more concerned about putting up numbers on his own behalf than executing the team schemes unless it serves his own purposes.

Hell no. Next years 1st is very valuable. Eagles would have to be giving us back some solid picks too.

Either of those deals sound a hell of a lot better then giving them 13 straight up, which I firmly would not do. 1st swap, sure.

ultimately, I hope he goes to a team in the AFC and eagles get peanuts, cuz fuck those guys.

I don't think iggles are gonna consider that..... I wouldn't if I were them.

But if they did, Snead should get the Congressional Medal of Honor..... And you honorable mention.

C'mon Now

Just some players are better at hiding it.

All NFL players have egos the size of Jupiter and rightfully so.... It's up to the coach to reel it in, which McVay has a knack for.

I don't like the future capital idea. What do we do when Stafford retires?

This is the first thread I have clicked for email alerts!!!!

I just hope I don't get banned before a decision is made on AJ :laugh2:

Lol. You went from trade a gazillion 1st round picks for Mendoza to Stafford is never retiring. This is a fun roller coaster ride!
It just shows I'm flexible:laugh2:

Well that all went down hill after we acquired the first KC-DB, then when we acquired the second KC-DB...... BOOM. Let's get another stud WR.

But ya I'm digging some of these scenarios some are throwing out.

This is how I kind of look at it:

Rams Trade:
1.13 - Lemon/Tyson

Eagles Trade
AJ Brown (and his salary and attitude, which is why they are trading him)
2.23 - Cooper Jr./Sadiq/CJ Allen/ Rodriguez/ trade down / ect.

I'd do this trade, doubt eagles would
