Just a gut feeling, based on their recent performances and health trends.

They've been good in some interesting and key areas, especially pressuring the QB and now they're adding Von Miller. Obo is growing, Floyd is a beast and Lewis is consistently being a physical presence.
The back end is growing and solidifying game by game. Fuller has REALLY started to ball in recent games and Deayon has been just good enough to make an impact. Williams being back and Rochell getting more experience make me think the coverage is just going to keep getting better.

I feel like their plans for the D are just really starting to come together and that they have more than enough talent to start being a consistently top 5 defense, maybe top 3.

My dream is to see Lewis or miller on the line one of them outside with hollins on the middle of he can actually play there that's a lot of rush RT there.

Btw is Hollins supposed to come back? I thought when he first got hurt was supposed to be like 3-4 weeks???

Hollins is supposed to be out 8-10.
What I'm interested to see is 5 man rush with Von in as a joker, picking where he wants to attack from.

The defense did not. Tenn spotted 14pts by offense.

The Rams D?
Not even a little. They let up 2 TDs. I'm not counting the first TD against them... Staff gave it to them at the 2.
Right on, I didn't watch the game. Sounds like the Rams did a lot to beat themselves if that is the case.

Here's PFF's take. Man, that's impressive. I love the DL especially. How do you guys like your LB's? Do you agree with these grades?

Miller on one side, Floyd on the other with AD going against one of the guards.

Maybe Lewis as a DE moved inside on obvious passing situations

One of them is going to cause pressure on any long developing pass plays.

Less need to blitz means more folks in coverage.

Stop the run and consistent pressure on the opposing qb is the winning ticket come playoff time.

Jones and Rapp improving as we go is the key. And Morris too of course but he's been calling it better of late.

Our front should be improved with Von added. So I agree there's room for thinking they've got a big upswing coming and statistically they're T-10th in scoring which is where many figured we might be. To get better in points I think they gotta unfuck third down conversion rate (19th at 41.58%). For reference Buffalo is best in league at 30.30%.

Oh and btw rush yards per carry is improving and we are T-9th at 4.1 or were this am not sure if today's values were added.

Or, NOT!!!

Oh… I’m much less worried about the D than the offense, so if you’re dunking here, maybe check yourself.

The Rams O got the living shit kicked out of it. The D? Let up three points over their season average.

Not a good night for the D.. but Stafford has been Gawful two weeks in a row.
