My vent(s)
1) The uniforms are an abomination. Thought the helmet was growing on me but it looks even worse with the dark jersey and the blueberries are just awful
2) The PI at the end was a bullshit call, but had to be made when Williams threw his hands up in the air in "Wasnt Me!!" fashion. I swear that flag doesnt come out if he just finishes the play out. So frustrating

I think Williams was doing it to make clear he didn't have his hands on the WR while the ball was in the air. I'm not sure they don't call it either ways.

yeah I agree... when you throw your hands up in the air like that it makes you look guilty.

When they replayed it, (mind you I only saw on Redzone) I thought the ref went to his pocket while he was looking right at Williams, and the play had already been dead. It wasnt a quick flag

Schemes take time to master. We're three games into this scheme with no preseason. Let's be patient. I remember fans of teams that had Fangio as DC telling me that it takes about half a season for the defense to get the scheme down.

half a season + a Shawn + Lewis. Sign me up. +mcvay is going to want pay back next time he sees the bills

Fully. He charged into Williams practically forcing him to put his hands on him. That was no accident imo.

And you know what if that's the case then like basketball or hockey the star player gets the benefit of the call. I would have still been livid but even that would give some sort of justification.
ESPN story has woulda saying not only not a penalty but the ball uncatchable.
Where the hell were the other refs. No conference nothing. Just seemed so off.

And they hesitated throwing the flag to boot fishy as hell.

Now that you brought this up, I think you are right.

It is genius if it is our team doing that.

Was undecided before, but those unis are fucking killer.

I think we have all forgotten that the Blueberries were our official uniform. The NFL was being uncharacteristically gracious to us with the throwbacks.

I love these unis.

I was disappointed we were not wearing the yellow bottoms. Sounds like we will see that combination soon.

I'll say it again,it was a BS call.

It is a violent sport.

It is inherently dirty.

I don't agree that it's inherently dirty. But ultimately, it doesn't matter if he was playing for a flag. The refs still were the ones who made the decision to throw it. But we benefited from that bad call on the Int, so I can't complain about the flag. We should have stopped them on 3rd and 22.

We rushed 4 on both 3rd down and forever plays. Allen knew he had all day, could look down the field with a clear head And was smart to throw it right in the middle to split the left and right zone...neither defender was square to the receiver allowing an extra 6 yards for the first down. You throw 6 or 7 players at Allen, now everything speeds up and getting 22 or 25 yards on a pass play goes exponentially down. Very few pro quarterbacks will miss a WR with time.
