It's going to be interesting to see what Shula has in mind for a game plan. This game will have a huge impact on his future, although it shouldn't. I have never based a coach's credibility, or a player's, on 1 game although that's how the media works (see Sam Darnold).

The Rams have nothing to lose here. If they can hold the eagles to 15 points or less, Shula will instantly become the greatest defensive coordinator of all time. If the Rams get blown out, it's because they are young and inexperienced and Shula was schooled.

I'm picking the Rams. Sometimes these "Cinderella stories" have a way of carrying a team. I'm not saying the Rams will win the super bowl, but I'm betting that their season will not end on Sunday.
I'll say it then. If the Rams season doesn't end on Sunday, they will win the Super Bowl.

I would immediately go place a large bet on that outcome.

Gonna b the same guys on D that Barkley put up 255yds rushing Shula has to change something or we're gonna see the same result.
Put more tackles on the DL? 8 in the box and make Hurts beat you?
I wanna give Rozeboom props for his improved play from beginning to end of the season. However, if I was Philly I’d pick on him all day in every way. Rams need to be prepared when that happens.

I spy Hurts and bring two DBs on blitz more than once. I believe the Rams can pressure Hurts and be good against the run. The O is going to be much better this time. It’s Soul Stealer time!

Well, I’ve seen it floated out around there on the Internet that this guy wore a body camera into the game and we have no idea what led up to that altercation. Wearing a body camera into the game is already extremely weird to me lol

Some people were also speculating that it was a little strange that the guy has multiple GoFundMe accounts active and asking for money from this situation.

The Eagles fan in the video there is no excuse for that, but it does make you wonder what led up to that situation since it’s not on video at all.

Something was definitely brewing.

Why are they cheering being short of a td?

Anyway, that's the last place I would want to be watching my team play a game. Not interested in interacting with dickheads.

Make Hurts beat you. I can live with Hurts playing like a superhuman to defeat us. But don't let Saquon or mistakes do it.

I agree 100%. I think we should be in Cover 1 or Cover 3 and use that extra safety in the box / bracket TE. If Hurts can beat that, then they deserve to win. But, like you, I don`t think he can.

is JJ3 back on the active roster?

I ask because our safeties are going to be asked to do a lot in this one! Maybe his experience would be invaluable in the deep third while Kurl and Lake cheat up towards the line?

That’s no knock on our two rookies

Yes, I saw him on the all-22. Very limited PT though. You may be right, he could be an X factor for us. Kitchens is balling out though.

American spelling is funny. I was doing the mini on the NY times and they had a clue of rubber around a wheel, or something similar. I typed in tyre but the y didn't work with the other word coming across. Couldn't work it out until later when I worked out it needed to be an i.

I tire easily. I need a spare tyre. Simple.

1. Maintain gap integrity on runs. Set the edge.

2. Put Philly into 3rd and longs. Make Hurts beat you with his arm.

3. On offense, get out to an early lead and win time of possession. Lots of runs and passes into the short and intermediate. Get Philly into situations where they need to win the game with Hurts in the pocket.
#2 is tops on my list. Rams need to absolutely neuter Hurts. Hes not looking sharp right now and containment harassment of him is our best course.

Since losing to the Commodes, in the game where Hurts got concussed, Philly has been cruising along with a flat tire.

In that time they have played the Giants, Cowboys and the Packers. None of those teams where competitive.

And for those of you who saw the Packers game, it was clear that Hurts is not himself. I wouldn`t go as far as comparing him to a punch-drunk boxer, but not far off.

Point being:

Philly will have to raise their level of play to beat us.

And we will have to lower our level of play to be beaten.

There is a path.

What do you guys think; what are the keys to victory against Philly?

The weather could be rough and while most think that helps Philly, I think it helps the Rams in terms of QB play. Hurts does not have a strong arm and cannot zip throws into strong winds the way Stafford can.

#1 priority -- slow down Barkley.
#2: contains Hurts in the pocket and force him to make long throws -- don't give him easy check downs.
